Overall, I had an okay stay at the Novotel Praha. In many respects, it was a good experience. But then however, there were several little details that made me feel that this hotel does not quite live up to the standards I'm used to from other Novotels across Europe I've visited before.
The staff was doing a great job. The hotel had a very good breakfast buffet. The room was spacious and the bathroom was good (the heated mirror was pretty convenient). Also the wifi was stable and fast (40 -70 Mbps). The location is also pretty good with the National Museum just around the corner and other attractions still within walking distance. Also, there's a metro station just across the street.
But then again, there were several little things... batteries in the tv remote dying, tear in the bed sheet, splatters on the curtains... So, the cleanliness was still okay but far from meticulous. Also, the two small elevators do not meet the hotel's capacity. And the weekend I was there, one of those was out of order - very annoying during the breakfast rush hour.
I would rate this 3.5 stars and I would come again as the price was reasonable for what I got. It's just a little behind other Novotels.
