Nice hotel. We would come back. We enjoyed the location and the view from the room. The room was spacious with a lot of storage space. The staff is friendly. The valet service is efficient and useful if you have a car. The hotel has a classic style and design but it is well kept and maintained. Small negatives: the gym is a bit tired. We thought the breakfast was a bit expensive relative to the price of the room and decided not to take it.

Terrible experience, our room smell like sewer, toilet bowl wasn’t flushing have to put our hand in the water tank in the back to make it flush, water dripping sound. The bathroom was completely wet in the morning. We asked to send someone around 9:20pm when we checked in and got to the room no one ever came. Went out for dinner around 10:40, told the receptionist about the problem. She was very sweet and felt sorry for us. Apparently the hotel is fully booked and to come back to complain in the morning. We are only  staying one night and thank God just one night. Because I would never recommend anyone to this place for a 300-400 eu a night go somewhere else.

Room with a view of Vesuvio and Capri. What else can one ask for when you wake up and walk to the balcony looking at il mare. La dolce vita lives here. Never mind all the other luxury hotel staff and details such as a red tassle heavy room key. Beautiful terraces. Super romantic for a couple - me and my boyfriend.

Very nice building from the beginning of 20th century, with a rich history, on the very nice place on the coast, opposite the Castell d'Ovo. Good breakfast buffet. Basic gym. Very nice view from the terrace. Due to the price of 718 € per twin room for 4 nights, however, it is especially desirable to mention the negatives, which are not few. Hotel interiors and furnishings of rooms are already quite shabby, almost everything would need to be renovated and revitalized. Room equipment is less than average. In the room (concretely nr. 637) there was very often an odor, probably from pipes. A can of cola or lemons from the minibar for 7 € (one piece)! Breakfast buffet is not bad, but from the hotel in this category i would wait much more. For example, fresh spreads are completely missing. Scrambled eggs were quite average in taste. And most importantly, the choice is the same every day. Times of breakfast and gym operating don't match with infos of hotel's websites. The women at the front desk were very nice, the men less so. However, it was generally felt that whatever you asked for or needed (beyond paying for your stay and receiving room keys) was a rather annoying problem for them. Not something about they would be happy to kindly suit you. In the reservation we asked for twin beds and a room on the upper floor, but upon arrival we got a room with one large bed and when we asked for a remedy, we felt like we were bothering; the subsequent move took about half an hour and the new room had twin beds, but overall worse level than the original. The evening before departure, we announced at the reception that we would be leaving the hotel at 6:40 in the morning and that we would like to get breakfast packages. (By the way, they were pretty awful in their contents, like not even a piece of fresh pastry.) We didn't ask for anything more. However, the reception woke us up by phone at 6:05. Why!? We are not idiots and we have our alarm clocks on our mobile phones. Summary = the hotel is nice on the outside, but the quality of service absolutely does not meet the required (exorbitant) prices.
