Lovely big room with two gorgeous views from whole windowed walls. We loved the two single duvets on a double bed ( instead of, of course the usual double duvet), going to copy that at home! Wasn't sure if we would be charged for drinking the two bottles of lager in the room, so left them. There was no fridge and our friend's room had one, which is the only quibble. In summary a stylish and well equipped hotel ideally situated for all the main attractions but not on a busy road.

We booked a room with a kingsize bed. Upon arrival at the hotel, we noticed we had two single beds instead, pushed together. Staff informed us the hotel ONLY has single beds, and to make a “kingsize” they simply pushed two singles together. The beds were boxsprings also, so any movement you make towards your partner causes the mattresses to move apart. Not fun.
The mattress cover was non-absorbent, so it was literally like sleeping in your own sweat. On top, we couldn’t get the AC to work; even with the heating off and the window open (app 12 C outside), the room was uncomfortably warm.
Breakfast bar was good and plentiful; the view from the room was exceptional: you can see the Friedrichswerdersche Kirche, the Berlin Dome, the TV tower and Berliner Stadtschloss from your window (if you’re at the front) and in the morning when the sun hits these buildings, it’s spectacular. Close to everything, bus stop with a 15 minute connection to the station right in front of the doorstep.

Excellent location. Especially if you travel for the Christmas markets, Gendarmenmarkt is really close, there is a bus station and metro station nearby. Luckily we had a room with the city view, it was excellent to watch during the night.
However the breakfast is overpriced, 18 euros per person, and buffet is not that wide. Parking is 22 euros per night and thankfully they allowed us to park earlier than our checkin time (entrance was a bit weird tho).

We stayed here in August in the presidential suite and it was absolutely fantastic! The room was top notch in every detail,  the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was a good standard and priced right for the surrounding area. The hotel is perfectly located in the middle of all the typical tourist spots , 5 minutes to the museum island,  10 minutes to the gate, holocaust memorial and check point Charlie and tbh we walked to all the attractions even ones 45 minutes away because the city is so beautiful why not take it all in.
