Renaissance Minsk Hotel

Mixed impression
The hotel left a very mixed impression. On the one hand, it should be noted that the hotel staff is very polite, trying answering all requests. I like the design of the lobby, a lot of plants in beautiful flowerpots.
At the same time a lot of little things that are disappointing. You can ignore them. But sometimes they greatly affect the quality of rest. For example, we planned to visit the spa, not finding bathrobes in the room, called the reception, we were informed that we can get bathrobes in the spa. When we came to the spa, it turned out that the bathrobes were over, which was reported to us with a smile but without apologies. The next morning, we asked to bring bathrobes to the room, waited half an hour - no one brought bathrobes, we left for the city, and returning to the room in the evening, we did not find any bathrobes. In my opinion, for a hotel of this level, such situations are unacceptable, as are things like rust in the shower. Our request to get a room on the top floor was also not heard, although we received a promise in e-mail, I realize that this is just the hotel’s right, but usually self-respecting hotels do everything to satisfy the requests of customers.
This is a good hotel and perhaps the one of the best options for its money. But one must understand that this is not a five-star service.

Nice Hotel, Wonderful Staff
Our family group visited Minsk from Moscow. We chose the Renaissance based on reviews and the quality of the brand. Three rooms were standard issue and I was given a junior suite (822) as an upgrade.

The quality of the rooms for the price was an amazing value. They are modern in design with plenty of space. The hotel features a pool/spa which everyone enjoyed. Breakfast was fantastic with a very diverse and abundant selection of foods and even an omelette station. We ate at the bar one evening and found it to be good as well. The only odd thing was the off hours at the Executive Club. There were a few snacks and soft drinks, but no opener for the bottles? A minor annoyance, but odd.

We asked the staff for assistance on many occassions and always found them cheerful and ready to help. Everyone spoke English (very well I might add) and made numerous phone calls for us to arrange/inquire about our excursions. You couldn't ask for a nicer group of professionals.

We were able to use the free Wifi to order Yandex taxis and found them to be very economical. They only offer economy and comfort level cars, but the value is great albeit with a bit of a wait. There are taxis on station at the hotel, but they charge more. However if you need a business class car, they are available.

Overall, we enjoyed our trip and stay at the Renaissance. The location is not optimum for city center attractions, but only a short taxi ride away. I would recommend it to travelers looking for a comfortable oasis at a good value.

Excellent customer service. Beautiful suites!
This hotel has excellent platinum recognition, and friendly service throughout. A special thank you to Alexsander who helped a friend with some visa issues. He went above and beyond and was so patient with her throughout the process. The hotel has a club lounge, and is wihin easy access to the city. They provide a shuttle or you can Uber it. I was appointed to a beautiful suite, that was spacious, comfortable, and exceeded my expectations. The breakfast is at the lounge for platinum members. Not sure if I could have eaten downstairs at the main restaurant, but the lounge was just fine. I would stay here again without hesitation.

A great hotel and management
My third stay at the hotel . Each time is better than before. I have been traveling to Minsk at least twice a year since 2001, I have stayed in most of the hotels in Minsk. For the value and service Renaissance is the best hotel in Minsk . I enjoyed the breakfast, pool, friendly service, and the members lounge . All the staff did what ever they could to make my stay great, I want to mention Ms. Daria who worked at members lounge, and also at the restaurant ,she had an amazing attitude focused at customer service. For people who have been traveling to Minsk as long as I have that speaks a lot about the management. I will be back in March. Thank You for the great service.

Good value for the money
Stayed here three nights in September.

Hotel is maybe 10-15 minutes walk from center, but taxis are cheap and they have also hotel-transfer-bus there.

The quality of hotel was very good. Clean and nice hotel room with all bathroom accessories. 24/7 room service also available, but I liked more to use their restaurant.
I didn´t try breakfast, because wanted sleep little bit longer.

Staff speaks English fluently and everything works!

I can strongly recommend this hotel in Minsk!

Fantastic location and great service
This was our first visit to Minsk, Belarus ????????. We had not that great experience with the immigration authorities who insisted on printed copy of the travel insurance and were not ready to accept the soft copy. Finally they made me pay $USD 5 for the Travel insurance and made me feel stupid and allowed me to go.

But other than that Minsk is a great city and has lot of potential for tourism. Lot to do and lot to see. A beautiful city. We stayed at Renaissance hotel which has great location, services including 24/7 currency exchange at a reasonable rates than anywhere else.

My best experience in Minsk
Having tried a number of different hotels in Minsk, this one is my favorite.
This hotel is relatively new, compared to other 5 stars options in Minsk.
The only one disadvantage is location - about 2 km from center of the city. So, taxi is inevitable. Though rather cheap.
Perfect quality and wide variety of choice at breakfast buffet.
Spacious rooms and great mattress quality.

Fantastic hotel!
I absolutely loved this hotel. Lovely room, really professional staff, great gym and pool. I didn't have breakfast but had dinner one night and, I'm vegetarian so wasn't sure what to expect but was really well catered for - good food. It was my birthday while I was there, I'd been trudging about in the cold and rain all day and was thinking I could've done something better for my birthday but my spirits were lifted when I returned to my room to find a beautiful cake and card from the hotel management - lovely touch. I loved this place so much I'm returning in September. A bit tricky to find first time, but there's a bit to the centre from the airport and a trolley bus from there to the hotel. Also only about a 30 minute walk from the central station. Highly recommended hotel.

Very Comfortable Bed
Stayed here for a night using points. I was assigned to a room on the 9th floor. It has one of the most comfortable beds in hotels I have stayed in. The lobby is very modern in design. Upon check in they acknowledge my being a member of the Marriot program.

Breakfast is not included in my stay.I ordered breakfast in the room and it is quite an affordable breakfast BYR 15(C$10).My only complaint is that it has no nearby restaurants and shops around it. They ordered a taxi service for me to the airport which is BYR45.

I requested for a late check out due to my late flight but I was allowed to stay only up to 12:30(12 noon is check out time). So I stayed at the business centre after my check out.

My room was quite spacious. Bathrobe and dental kit can be requested by calling. It is not provided in the room. Tea and coffee service is provided in the room and a fully stacked bar in the small fridge. Wifi is fast and free.

The perfect hotel for Minsk
The hotel is 45min from the airport and 10min walk to the center of Minsk.

The staff is really friendly and helpful.

The rooms are clean, modern, and very cozy. The bed was super comfy. And the breakfast buffet is amazing. I actually couldn’t wait for breakfast time to go downstairs and have poached eggs!

There are all the facilities you need for both a business trip and leisure.

I would certainly recommend this hotel for your stay in Minsk.

Attentive and efficient staff - check in was 2 min!
A Marriott Gold member I was greeted as such by an attentive and efficient front desk team member and told that I had been upgraded to a corner room - ah, very nice! The room was spacious and well appointed - the lounge sofa/chair was comfortable for watching TV; so much so that I fell asleep in a few short minutes. The one big criticism I have is the lighting in the bathroom - it's very poor! If you are as blind as I am without my glasses you'll have a tough time seeing your face in the mirror. Shaving was a nightmare! Why can't hotels put better lighting in the bathrooms - ie bright lights? I highly recd an update on that score. Other than that the shower was good and the bed and pillow comfy. At bfast the staff is attentive but almost too attentive - Id suggest that they strike a balance between being too overbearing and providing timely customer service. Wait for the plate to be empty before swooping in to take it away! :)If you're looking for a comfy place near the city centre, but not in it, this is a good choice. (Be mindful that there is road construction nearby...)

Прежде всего хотелось бы выразить благодарность персоналу отеля. Заселили очень быстро, сотрудники службы размещения были очень отзывчивы, добры и вежливы (все рассказали, объяснили, показали).
Девочки в лаунже на 11 этаже - просто прекрасны.
Отель очень понравился. Номер чистый, светлый, все необходимые принадлежности разложены (шампуни, гели, щётки, большое количество полотенец).
Еда вкусная как в ресторане, так и в лаунже на 11 этаже. Шведский стол на завтраке - огромен, блюда на любой вкус. Очень понравилась станция с тёплыми блинчиками.
В СПА-зоне выдают все необходимое (полотенца, халаты, тапочки и тд). Бассейн большой, две сауны с разной температурой, джакузи.
В общем, отдых прошёл отлично!

This hotel certainly demonstrates a high level of attention-to-detail in every way. Extremely friendly and courteous staff that goes above-and-beyond, however unfortunately it would be impossible to list all the names of the staff that well exceeded our expectations. The food was high quality and exceptional as well as the food service staff. Check-in was extremely easy thanks to the friendliness of the front desk staff that allowed us an early check-in on arrival (kindly note that this benefit is not always available). Everything at the hotel is clean and well maintained. The pool and associated amenities are among the best that we have experienced in any hotel; relaxing, comfortable, and enjoyable. The hotel is well situated within close proximity to many attractions including the large and impeccably clean Minsk Aqua Park. The rooms are spacious and house keeping staff very accommodating. The price is extremely affordable in comparison to other more expensive hotels that don't measure up to this hotel's level (and we have stayed in many hotels around the world). We would highly recommend this hotel for your visit to Minsk for either business or pleasure!

Everything about this hotel is great. The rooms are modern and clean. The staff is friendly and willing to help you with whatever you need. The restaurant, pool, fitness center, and spa is also excellent. I am a Marriott Bonvoy Titanium Elite member and the executive lounge is something that is very important for me. The food in the lounge and lounge itself was wonderful and well maintained. I really enjoyed visiting the lounge each evening. The one person who made my stay truly special was Emma in the executive lounge. She is a great person and really made me feel at home during my 10 night stay in Minsk. I enjoyed seeing her/talking to her each evening and she made sure that I had everything I needed. I will never stay anywhere else when I come back to this city

The hotel location is at walking distance from the center of Minsk.You will be welcomed by their friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are pretty spacious, and we'll maintained. You will have the usual amenities including, safe box and  mini bar. The toilets are clean and we'll maintained, with a dual shower ,but without a duvet, or mini shower for intimate wash. The breakfast it is served at the ground floor with a fair option of items, but as a plus on weekends you will find sparkling wine included at breakfast.

Strategic location a 40min from Minsk Airport and 5min to downtown which is 15min walking rooms cleanness outstanding  staff a d receptionist where kind and warm welcoming breakfast is has some of Belarussian sides great cheese choice and fruits would suggest more choice.
Comfort and residence acquainted bed shower, pillows, curtains well maintained.
It is a non-smoking facility.
Gym and spa good equipment and hygiene maintained all time.
Kudos to front line staff before management in last step as i believes always that compliments should be addressed to the operation ones as they confront always and directly to guestes.
At last thank you Renaissance for  the stay and load more water for room 500ml aint enough.

Amazing hotel! Clean and warm! the staff are really professionals and as well paying attention to details. Guest needs are alays taken care and expecations are exceeded. I'm staying in this hotel, once or twice a month and do feel like home, since I'm always given same room, which is very nice from the receptionist. They do remember their guest. As well got my birthday and I received a nice welcome from them, birthday cake! Amazing hotel and staff!
