Probably a bit too square for this hip hotel
A midterm family break with teenagers who chose this hip hotel.

1. Location

It's located a little away from the main drag with relatively few bars and restaurants close by.

2. Staff

All of the staff were lovely and friendly.

3. The Common Areas

The main feature of the hotel is the tropical themed swimming pool area that most of the rooms open out onto. Pretty hip with a bar and cabanas. Great for pool parties.

The 6th Floor contains the Restaurant.

You could get a drink in the pool area or the restaurant but neither is a proper bar and there is no lounge/lobby area for you to relax with a good book.

We did not eat but the drinks were very good.

The animal skins and heads are to bring us face to face with the realties of meat eating apparently.

Reception area and lifts, etc are tight.

4. The Gym and Sauna

These looked good.

5. The Room

We had 2 adjoining family rooms on the first floor which does not look out onto the pool. We gave the larger room to the teenagers and ours was a bit tight.

Mini bar selection looked interesting and gowns and slippers etc were of good quality.

Big complaint was the shower area. Maybe an echo thing but the shower head was small and the pressure was not great. It may have been reduced to stop the floods that are caused by the fact that water seems to flow away from rather than to the drain in this wet room.

It became a real source of frustration over the 3 days and was not very eco as many towels were pressed into service as dams.

6. Overall impression

If you read other reviews, you see that this hotel has its lovers and detractors.

It has a real sense of style and uses the pre-existing building very well.

I am probably too much of a square to really appreciate it's hip merits.

New Year’s Eve
Casual for a 5 star hotel but cannot complain. Pool area was lovely but sometimes had too many kids. We were on the 2nd floor and though you could hear music from the kitchenette area it was dead silent at the bed so did not bother us at all. Room was way bigger than expected and bed extremely comfortable. The pool bar was rarely staffed and often difficult to get a drink. We stayed over New Years which was loads of fun and the view from the terrace unbeatable. Highlight of my stay was the rooftop outdoor shower, sauna, and steam room which was always empty first thing in the morning and was a brisk and relaxing way to start the day! Shout out to Lisa who checked us in, helped us out when we were dying from jet-lag, and showed us the best New Year’s Eve ever. Give that gal a raise!

Fantastic City Get Away
It's a brilliant concept, turning an old office building into a city oasis. The central pool atrium is a unique feature. If you join one of the Friday pool parties you will have the fun afternoon and evening - it's also popular with the locals.

The rooms are spacious, quality price value is high. The interior provides a personal touch to the room making it feel more homie. Metro station Forum is close by - app. 500 meter.

Would I use the hotel again? Yes for sure.

Hidden gem in Copenhagen
Is a word, Manon Les Suites is "cool". Hardly visible from the street (very narrow doorway), so just the sign to give away its presence from the street, the entire atmosphere is laid back, homey, and very relaxing.
The staff is generally very young and super nice. We experienced nothing but smiles and a helpful attitude.
The lobby is equipped like a mix of a private English library and a San Fran coffee shop, with stairs directly to the best hotel gym I have ever seen (full size boxing ring for instance, and crossfit area).
The lifts are tiny, but big enough to get the job done (and lined with cow hides, so if that's a problem for you, stay away).
Every floor has a walkway towards the atrium which extends from the 2nd floor pool, all the way to the glass ceiling, and the entire interior is covered with green plants and decorations that put you somewhere is the tropics (fits well with the pool and sunbed area).
The roof top is a sauna/spa area outside, as well as the restaurant for both breakfast, dinner and cocktails. Great view from there!
The room itself fits the cool yet homey decor, and while not huge, it is certainly big enough (but two people in that bathroom at once, becomes very intimate ;-)
we found the bed excellent, and slept like babies.
Generally, the hotel is rather warm - including the rooms - but I guess that is a consequence of the central heated pool. The only place it posed any problem to us (and we usually sleep in a very cold room) was in the gym, which was very warm.
I wholeheartedly recommend Manon Les Suites, but it is not cheap..

An amazing experience
I can't rate this hotel too highly. The staff are friendly, the food is great and the facilities beyond compare. After walking round the city it was fab to come back to a sauna and steam on the 6th floor and semi outside. It was so much more interesting than the usual spa facilities - just beware of the cold water bucket next to the shower! Then a quick dip in the cool and funky pool that has a bar and a disco ball. The rooms are wonderful and we had a lounge area as well as a great bedroom and bathroom. The hotel is very eco conscious and the products and produce are wonderful. Would love to revisit, this is a great unique place.

Super nice Hotel in different design
Designer Hotels are always risky. This one is not - all neccesary comfort including a jungle spa im the center courtyard. Great experience to walk through hangong plants to your room!
Decent Restaurant , great breakfast - all organic!!
Very nice service - only the drunken secretaries who were somehow friends of one of the managers disturbed the perfect scenery.
Super nice staff - we will be back!

Truly Fun Experience
Before booking, I went over some of the reviews here. If you’re planning on staying, keep in mind this is not your typical 5 stars hotel. From my point of view, this is a high end hotel, which offers a fun, nice, welcoming experience, especially for young visitors (not kids). It is super cool and unique, the pool is one of a kind, everything we ordered from the bar and restaurant was perfect and room (we stayed at the rooftop suite), was well designed and warm. The staff was attentive and the location is great as well. You might notice some small things you’d expect from a 5 stars hotel, but you’ll enjoy a truly unique and awesome experience

Cool boutique hotel of the beaten track
You are greeted by friendly staff literally 2 steps from the entrance door and are made to feel at home at once. Then a bit of confusion as you have go via a what must be described as a service elevator up to either your room, the restaurant or a inside pool area. The latter looks and feels almost like being in Bali rather than Copenhagen.

The room were nicely decorated and had almost all you need (a desk to work...) and bed were great.

At both lunch and breakfast at the hotel. Breakfast had a small selection but indeed delicious. Lunch was also great, staff helped guide the menu and suggestions.

Definitely a next time.

Great hotel
My wife, daughter and I stayed here for three nights and we loved the hotel. There is a full gym downstairs from the lobby with a boxing ring, heavy bags, treadmills, and full dumbbell rack. This is the best gym attached to a hotel I have found.

There is a steam room and sauna on the roof with an outdoor shower.

The hotel has a pool in the center that is surrounded by hanging plants, giving it a jungle feel.

The Metro is only a 15 minute walk from the hotel and great restaurants are also close.

I would definitely stay here again. Also, their staff was friendly and helpful.

Hotel ma liczne atuty. Po pierwsze - świetna lokalizacja. Tak blisko centrum, że wszystko jest w zasięgu spacerowej odległości. Wewnątrz - pełny komfort. Pokoje dobrze wyposażone, a mini aneksem kuchennym. Centralną część hotelu zajmuje basen, są też inne atrakcje dla tych, którzy lubią spędzać czas w hotelu. Na uwagę zasługuje też obsługa recepcji - bardzo życzliwa i pomocna. Szczerze polecam.

Know what you are getting. They call it a 5 star hotel but Manon is a gorgeous romantic boutique hotel not a full service corporate luxury hotel. You will get a big stylish, mostly well designed room (Europeans still don't know how to build a shower that doesn't get everything within 2 meters totally soaked) oriented around a gardens of Babylon style courtyard. There's a small but beautiful pool, a nice little sauna on the roof, and a fitness center that doubles as a boxing training facility and is beyond what you find at any other smaller hotel. It's the kind of place where hipsters will feel at home, but dorks won't be totally self conscious. There's always at least one couple low key making out in the pool but it's not an adult only hotel and the shallow pool is good if you got a 9 year old or someone who can't really swim. It's decidedly low maintenance, and understaffed. You generally handle your stuff and get clean towels and toiletries as needed from housekeeping. There's a lot of fuss about all its organic products and eco-friendly focus, but truth is once you've flown into Copenhagen it doesn't matter how much you brush your teeth with a bamboo toothbrush and organic toothpaste tablets, you are just trimming toenails on your carbon footprint. It is not a hotel for people who go to bed before 11 p.m. or need complete silence to sleep. There's a restaurant bar on the 6th floor and the 2nd floor pool is bumpin europop noon to 10 (12:00-22:00). Choose your room wisely. If you have kids or want to center your stay around the pool be a good sport and stay on the 2nd floor. If you want quiet(ish) try for the 4th floor or the side away from the restaurant. Beds were more comfortable here than the other high end larger hotel we stayed at in Copenhagen. I'd worry about some deterioration over time as I did see the beginnings of wear and tear and not much of any facility/maintenance staff. If management is reading this, you got a beautiful place, now staff it fully and look at how you can improve-like a little basic cutlery and a plate for when your guests get take away.

We stayed at Manon les suites for my boyfriends birthday. It was one of those places on my Copenhagen list and it beat all our expectations.. Wow! The place is more beautiful than the pictures. We had the amazing pool right outside our room. It's location is nice as well if you want to get around in the city in an easy way. The breakfast was OK, nothing special. The bathrooms were tiny.. could've been bigger. But if you come here you come for the atmosphere, all the details, the staff that are super nice and the AMAZING "I love ECO essentials" lotions/schampoo/oils etc.... that I'm ordering asap :-)

Nice hotel - but not 5 stars in classic sense. Reception is staffed with student helpers and so is the service not too sharp. But the pool area is a outstanding place - but of course crowded at times. The rooftop sauna is a bit oddly organized as u walk pass ordinary restaurant folks in your towel. Gym is fantastic. Breakfast is expensive - but with time and hunger - value for money. Rooms are nice. Overall u should try - but be open for a different 5 star experience. At times they have good deals - watch out for those - that removes some frictions.

Lovely hotel!
The rooms are a bit basic but do the job. The real focal point is the pool.
They have a nice rooftop area where you can have drinks or relax after the steam room, and ice bucket experience.
The food was a little expensive for the portion sizes.
Location is very convenient in the heart of Copenhagen.

We absolutely loved the design of the hotel. Everything looked amazing including the pool and our rooms. The dinner was below acceptable, the food tasted boring, if not bad - we had an vegetarian lasagna and vegetarian burger. When it was time for bed in our very stilish rooms, we could hear our nabour snoring and everytime one of our nabours leaved the room we would either wake up or get a big shock because of the loud noises.
We're not planning on coming back, too expensive for what you get for the money.
