The Dyehouse

We really enjoyed our 1 night stay at the Dyehouse recently. The owner is a really interesting, funny, friendly, and helpful character! He explained everything about the room and gave us lots of advice about the local area too. The location is great - just a short walk from central Waterford, yet its surprisingly peaceful and quiet, even on a Saturday night! The breakfast was plentiful and really lovely, bedroom nice and comfy, and the shower was great. We'd definitely recommend!

Lovely we stayed in family room but no option of cooked breakfast due to covid but lovely continental option for my Fiance and my step soon. One bathroom for 3 rooms. Beware no food allowed in rooms which hotels dont mind allowing. No 5 stars for above and varied service. May go again but not for 3 nights. 4th star for hosts hubbie who gave us tour of his vintage car restoration.

Very nice landlord. The house and rooms have an extraordinary architecture. Location is only a few minutes away from the city centre. Parking in front the house is possible and during night for free. However, the water heating/pump was pretty recognizable in the room. The breakfast was relatively basic.

A friendly and inviting accommodation where you are made to feel very welcome. An artist's eye and a love of colour has had a big effect on both the interior and exterior making this a unique and interesting stay. In addition the house itself has a rich history tied to bygone local industry which the owners will happily share if asked. The Dyehouse is clean and comfortable and in a handy spot being very close to Waterford train station but also a short walk to all the key spots in the city. We enjoyed and appreciated our stay.
