Living Santa Cruz Coimbra

Took us some time to find the place, but we had helps from the friendly Portuguese in the cafe santa cruz next door. Before our arrival, the host advised us well about where to park the car. We would also like to thank Joana, who greeted us when we arrived, for providing us with all these useful tips on visiting the University of Coimbra, so we did not waste any time on queuing. She was also kind enough to help us with carrying our super heavy luggage up to the room. We did enjoy the variety of the breakfast, the staff there was also very attentive. The only downside was probably that we could hear every footsteps from the person staying at the room above us - but we still had nice sleep, it didn't actually bother us too much. Good value for the price.

It is hard to imagine a better place to stay in charming Coimbra. Everything about this B&B and in particular the friendly, welcoming, and helpful host Joel made our vacation in Coimbra so wonderful. The next door reasonably priced Sete restaurant recommended by Joel is an excellent place to enjoy local food and hospitality.

Hotel very well located for visiting Coimbra on foot. The rooms are very clean and have a great view of the Santa Cruz Monastery. Excellent breakfast and great host I recommend.

Well located, but complicated at the parking lot. Room on the 4th floor difficult to access with suitcases and bed in room very sloping easily overheated. Otherwise effective home, smiling and with good advice. Good breakfast in pleasant room with background music.
