Clarion Hotel Bergen

Very large clean room and bathroom, comfy beds, 2 chairs and a desk chair. The location is perfect, walkable to the water, shops, and funicular. Excellent restaurants nearby. We walked across the street for delicious Indian cuisine. The breakfast was full of options and some traditional Norwegian foods. I'd definitely stay here again.

The room itself was really comfortable and clean. We felt very cozy and the bathroom was just great. The building itself is old, as is the upholstery, but it doesn't take away from the comfort level. Amazing location. Breakfast wasn't so great, and the parking underneath was very expensive. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is in a fabulous location, breakfast was not very good and had to go to the reception to get it even if it was advertised that they bring it to your room. Bathroom was dirty, tv was breaking down every 30 seconds so was unable to watch any channel out of 6 available ones. They advertise parking but be aware that it is at an additional charge of 250NOK. Cant get back to your room from the parking spot as the key card doesn't work properly which was a new nuisance. Hotel needs to be updated a bit and then i will stay here again

The rooms are a little older. Most rooms will not have a refrigerator or coffee period although they do in upgraded rooms. Close to reception is an area where you can get free coffee tea and sparkling water. The breakfast setup is good and traditional for most hotels in Norway and includes Norwegian pancakes. The hotel is very close to the waterfront and centrally located.
