Hotel ibis budget Antwerpen Centraal Station

Good accomodation as for the price. Clean rooms, service very nice. Location is perfect, short walk from Central Station and city centre. The only minus was that the shower gel bottle was empty upon arrival and wasn't refilled but for us wasn't the problem because we brought ours.

Even considering the 2-star rating of this, it desperately needs some renovation, especially considering that it’s a part of a large Accor chain, so overall costs of these upgrades would be minimal for them, but they just don’t seem to bother. What upgrades? Towel hooks, more space for cloths, replacing the light control which is located about your head when you’re in bed and shines green light 24/7 and more. Location is nice, but I would recommend you to look elsewhere. Unfortunately, we didn’t have many options since we booked the trip shortly before it has started.

Great location right next to the central train station. The rooms were clean and not overly cluttered. Unfortunately the windows don't open all the way so at times the room can get too hot for comfort.

I came here for a 2 day stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, gave us more soap as the dispenser was empty. The room was enough for a short stay. I noticed there was a clump of hair on the shower wall that was not cleaned for the entirety of the stay, so I guess the housekeepers do not pay high attention to detail and just come to change the towels. On the bright side, they took COVID-19 measures seriously. Masks were to be worn at all times in common areas, and if not the individual would be banned. There was also hand sanitisers near the lifts on each floorit was in a good location, and the price was great, I do like these hotels for a short weekend trip.
