My room was clean, looked newly refurbished. Lovely bathroom, fluffy white towels - tea making facilities and hair drier.  Comfortable clean bed, I enjoyed a quiet good nights sleep. Excellent value for money in superb location. I cannot relate to other reviews as in my experience this was a great room for the money and will come again!

Looks very impressive upon entry, especially considering the price paid. There was a long queue at check in, which went down slowly. Would like to have seen higher staffage to speed this up, especially at this busiest time of day. Staff were friendly though. Room was good. Quite basic but clean. Beds were fairly firm but comfortable enough, nice pillows. Welcomed with everything one needs for an overnight stay. Would stay again, especially for the budget prices.

Would only recommend for people on a tight budget/travelling/just passing through. If you’re a bloke reading this, please please don’t take your missus here or she’ll lose all respect for you. (Luckily I wasn’t with her here). Amazing location, but you can see why the prices are so cheap. Staying in the rooms that have no windows is really disorientating, feels like a solitary confinement prison cell. The room smelled really strongly of cigarettes. The bathroom had no vent so after a hot shower the room got steamy, and there was no air conditioning so it was so hot I couldn’t use the duvet without sweating. Rooms were hygienic and beds acceptable level of comfort, but the decor was dated and not nice to look at. The walls and ceilings are quite thin so you can hear all the movements of the people in the rooms around you. Definitely get what you pay for though, can’t complain at all with the prices.

After reading all the bad reviews for this place I was very skeptic, but gotta say I was pleasantly surprised. Check in did take us about 35 min, but we came bit after 2 and loads of people were already waiting there. Our room was clean and nice. With TV, kettle, tea and coffee, hairdryer and bathroom wasn't bad at all either. Interior of the hotel is stuck in a past but I personally liked it. It has a soul of its own. Only thing I was bit annoyed with is the back street. Something like a generator was on the back and when we opened the window you could hear this annoying loud sound impossible to sleep to and my mattress was bit springy as well so didn't have the best sleep. But for the price it's not at all as bad as all the reviews say and I wouldn't mind coming back. Maybe we just got lucky.
