Clarion Collection Hotel With

Great hotel. I booked the superior double room, with view to the harbour. It’s fantastic! The breakfast is super complete, and the dinner is also very good - simple but very good. There is coffee available all the day and cake during the afternoon - which is also very good. It is located near to many shops and restaurants. If you wanted a good hotel, you found it.

Nice hotel on the harbor side in central Tromsø with nice views. One person room on the small side but convenient. Only missed a power socket near the bed side table. They only clean your room on request. Breakfast was perfect with a nice selection of everything you might think of. Free coffee at any time in the restaurant plus some pastery between 3 and 5 pm. From 6 to 8 pm they serve a dinner meal like f.ex chicken with rice, curry or pork with potatoes and a choice of different salads. Really enjoyed my stay here and would come back if I ever came to visit Tromsø again.

Location is around 10 minutes by taxi from the airport. Only a 5minute walk from a lot of different restaurants from pizzas to Indian, and most of them open during this pandemic. Upon entering you will find it a little dated from  other hotels in different cities, I was a little shocked by this as Tromso is a Vibrant tourist location not only for northern lights seekers but also Salmon fishermen, maybe the older feel is an added attraction? Interior seemed clean with the usual amenities like restaurant, snacks and beverages at reception, lift and a stuffed polar bear... I didn't make use of the breakfast. I am a platinum member of Norwich choice and was upgraded, the room I was upgraded to was a twin (I fell through the single beds while asleep).  Bed was comfy for the time I spent in it tho. The room had a view to the harbour and bridge, a desk for working was provided but above a pent interior so watch your head when standing. Shower/toilet room was clean. For the actual hotel I would of given a 3* but the service of check in was fantastic so worth the extra star there. An OK hotel with super helpful staff but if your looking for more luxury then maybe try another hotel?

Very cute hotel. Seems like a old renovated building. It has a maritime decor... The room floors look like inside a boat/ship. The room (moderate double) was very comfortable with a big bathroom/toilet and a super bed. Super well located in the center facing the city pier. Breakfast, afternoon snack and dinner included... Bufet style. 5 stars staff.
