I loved our stay here. Our room was small but I liked the decor and we were not going to live there permanently so that was fine. The location is fantastic for walks to Marienplatz, The Residenz, etc. Breakfast is served in the fashion one sees in period movies and that is just my thing! My only complaint was that I asked for hot water at each breakfast but never got a cup to drink it in so had to use my used coffee cup to drink the water. The staff are professional and friendly. There’s however not much to do in the hotel if one does not feel like going out (but then you are in the heart of Munich, why stay in?)

I love this hotel. The interior design is exceptional. The part of town is very quite even though it is close to the action. I can't stress enough how impressed I am with the genuine hospitality and kindness I encountered here.

Really love our stay here. Hotel is really pretty and the room is very big. Breakfast spread is not that big but sufficient for us (their table setup is very pretty). There were also fresh flowers in the room (but was only for 1 day, not sure why. We stayed for 4 nights). We also got a box of chocolate on our last night. Everything else is good except theres no kettle for us to boil water. There is no restaurants in the hotel but you can make a food delivery to the hotel. Depending on the person at the reception desk, some will help to pick it up for you, charge it to the room bill and bring it up for you, some will ask you to come down and pick it up yourself.

If you can afford a little more upscale for a place to sleep, this is the place to go.  Their furniture and room setup is almost worth the extra cost.  This is the first time for me and I believe my gal that we were treated like we were, in my opinion something close to royalty.  I’ve never had my bags taken to my room other than by me.  I’ve never had a free breakfast where, you sat at a table and were asked by a waiting staff what you wanted for breakfast, other than paying extra for it.  I’ve stayed in $300+ and $400+ rooms and have never had this type of treatment, and no breakfast.  Like I said if you can afford it, it’s worth the money for a little pampering.
