The Residence Hotel Galway

Excellent location in the heart of the vibrant historic Latin neighborhood near the Spanish Arch and river, shopping, everything! Clean and beautifully decorated rooms. Unique double windows which miraculously blocked the extremely loud sounds of music/partying just below the window. Unfortunately, with the windows shut, I'm sure the room would get quite hot at night in the summer. Although they did provide a beautiful, very efficient Dyson fan with the room.

Would stay here again! Room was super clean and trendy. Stayed with my two sisters and we got a room with three twin beds- it was perfect. Went to the attached bar a few times. Great location to get to the bus and plenty of coffee places, restaurants, shops and bars to go to.

First visit. They had only 1 room left man in reception showed it to me as it had no view from window and was rather small. The room was spotless clean very modern and the mirrored wall made it look much bigger. Bathroom super.had everything you need including a safe .the location is excellent in the middle of the Latin quarter  close to car park. Will definitely be back.

The hotel was lovely. Very friendly staff. The rooms were well finished, with a nice coffee machine, good hairdryer, and Netflix. Very central part of Galway. Wouldn't recommend for a business traveller or someone not interested in a late night as the bar was very loud even in the bedroom. However suited us fine as it stopped shortly after we came in for the night (11.30ish on a sat). Very impressive sound proofing towards the street.
