Warm and friendly
Our travel agent recommended this hotel and we were very pleased. It looks like an d world hotel but was built in the late 90’s!
It is in a very convenient location - we walked almost everywhere!
The staff was very helpful in recommending restaurants
We had a suite which was roomy and romantic!
It is in a very quiet area

Luxurious
Amazing hotel, amazing service, great location. This is a high class hotel located next to the center of Berlin. Its everything you can ask for in a luxury hotel. The staff goes out of their way to make your stay a memorable one. And the bar is amazing too.

Old style luxury
Have been to many hotels in Berlin but the Regent is something special. Old world luxury- lovely hotel. The staff though are wonderful. Extremely friendly, helpful- they give you a feeling of something special , like a small family hotel. Not like one of the modern, characterless chains. The breakfast was out of this world- eggs Benedict, pancakes, strawberries - and all top top quality in lovely surroundings. All in all thoroughly recommended. Don’t want to check out tomorrow morning and can’t wait to come back!!!

Classic old world hotel, top notch
We chose this hotel for a few days stay in Berlin after Christmas based on the many positive reviews from other travelers.
It is a classic old world style hotel but very well maintained and all areas in excellent condition.
All the staff are extremely friendly and helpful and you are really made to feel welcome despite the high-class atmosphere.
We had a superior room on the 8th floor which was spacious, well appointed and very quiet, something we appreciate in hotels.
The hotel is well situated and you can easily walk to most centrally located tourist sites. If not the U-Bahn is close by.
Obviously being so well located and a true 5 star experience it comes at a cost but we felt it was justified and good value for money.
Thoroughly recommend if you want pampering.
The Charlotte and Fritz restaurant and Regent Bar in the hotel are both excellent – see our review of the Charlotte and Fritz restaurant.

A grand hotel but
Centrally located in an upmarket part of Berlin, this hotel reeks of old money ( or new money with class) ......either way, more than we want to spend. At over €300 per night, breakfast was an extra €39 per head.... for that I could by a lobster, truffle & a taste of caviar for two!

The period decor doesn’t encourage lingering in the lobby & the afternoon tea room, while charming was forbidding. The staff were were generally very pleasant & helpful apart from a very aloof receptionist at checking in.

Our room was huge, bed & bathroom fittings fine but a little dated & tired. Because of the location, we did get some street noise during the night...the usual party goers & an ambulance or two.

As a doctor & a past senior employee of a large multinational, we’re not intimidated in the least by classy hotels & restaurants but the vibe & value didn’t suit us!

The Hotel has truly earned the prestigious award to be the world leading Hotel. Everything is just prefect, excellence everywhere without over-doing it it and that is the balance most luxury Hotels can not manage. Service is outstanding and you really feel welcomed here. If you go to Berlin, there is no other option than the Regent if you want to get the little extra.

Ruhige komplett ausgestattete Zimmer, old style. Frühstück coronabedingt am Buffet reduziert, Service bringt alles, was man braucht. Kaffee von Berliner Kaffeerösterei bemerkenswert. Restaurant geschlossen, kleine Karte in der Bar. Barbetrieb aufmerksam und angenehm kommunikativ. Lobbybetrieb klassisch zuvorkommend. Insgesamt fühlt man sich umsorgt.

We had a family reunion in Germany during mid November 2021 and stayed in three separate rooms at the Regent Berlin.

I am particularly impressed by the professionalism and thoughtfulness of the Reservations Team. I had numerous requests and they were most obliging. A smooth check-in after long flights from Asia and North America was very helpful.

Housekeeping was friendly and provided fresh fruit plates and a large bottle of Evian everyday. There is a coffee machine/kettle in the room as well.

Breakfast was included in our room rates. Buffet plus hot entrees (to order): eggs, side dishes, pancakes (the best), waffles, omelettes...etc. Excellent selection of fresh fruits. Very happy with it.

Windows can be opened and one of our rooms had a balcony.

Hotel within walking distance to the museums, Rausch Schokoladenhaus, and malls with supermarkets and pharmacy - where we converted our US and Singapore vaccine certificates to the EU version with QR codes.

We will definitely stay at the Regent again when we next visit Berlin

One of the most beautiful hotels. If you don't stay at the hotel at least visit the Regent Berlin for coffee or tea time. Tea time is amazingly delicious and accompanied by life classical piano music. So beautiful.

5 star superior with no wi-fi.
Went there for business, and we could not all have videocalls bc the wifi was not working. We flagged it many times and they just didn't care or did anything to improve the service. Old shower, broken mirror...... if you want to have 5 stars you need to make sure the service is a good one.

Stayed at the Regent last year, and was very comfortable in their suite, which was unexpectedly  large!  Service was excellent also.  The butler / concierge service  helped us in so many ways when it came to booking restaurants, concerts, and seeing that our driver was on top of our plans.  This hotel stands out in solid service.
