Grand Hotel Vesuvio

Hotel experience was wonderful! The location is excellent right on the promenade off the Gulf of Napoli with an amazing view. The promenade is a perfect place for walking day and night and lined with several delicious restaurants. Hotel staff, especially the head waiter at breakfast, were so kind. Breakfast itself was amazing, what a spread. Room was very comfortable, clean. We were upgraded to a corner room. Service came twice a day which was a nice surprise. Hotel held our luggage for us while we enjoyed aperitivo on their rooftop before we departed to Capri. Don't miss the roof deck. We loved this place!

A quality hotel with very friendly, efficient staff with  nice rooms and although we only stayed one night they treated us like long lost friends and with a lovely roof top bar with views of Vesuvius that serve a nice lunch  and although a little expensive we thought well worth the price.

Sincerely one of the best hotels I have slept in. The building is beautiful, service is efficient and elegant, kind, the location is perfect. Classic Napolitan style, great food. Worth it, without a doubt!

I can't say enough good things about this hotel. Having stayed in 100's of hotels across almost 50 countries, this is by far my favorite. First, the awesome view and location; a close second, the amazing, friendly staff; and third, the history and elegance. Wish I could give it 6 stars!
