Grand Hotel Oslo By Scandic

A lookback to my visit at The Grand Hotel. A story found at the Grand Hotel says that when the norwegian traveler Roald Amundsen returned to Oslo after his successful expedition to the South Pole in 1912, the festival was held at the Grand Hotel. The sculpture of the Danish-Norwegian artist duo Elmgreen & Dragset's work called Powerless Structures is a smaller version of the work they showcased 2012 at The Fourth Plinth in London's Trafalger Square. It was the most beautiful visit to a hotel I have ever experianced. The historic art, exquisite rococco furniture, tiled marble and the finest crystals. I highly recommend to pay a visit to this captivating and historic hotel if you ever find yourself in Oslo.
