Radisson Blu Hotel Altstadt, Salzburg

The location is good. Just right in the old town. Everything is a short walk away, we could walk around the old town after sunset, with few tourists and be back in the hotel in a few minutes! Views from the breakfast restaurant is nice, facing the river! We were upgraded and room was huge! Staff are friendly and helpful! Hotel is converted from an old building and we love it!

The staff were very helpful and alway pleasant and professional. They went over and above for us, including the manager being super helpful for us when organizing a day trip to the snow on our last day. Nothing was too difficult for them. Highly recommended. Good rooms too. Nice, clean and spacious.

Our stay at the Altstadt was fantastic!!! The location itself has direct access to the Getreidegasse out the back door, and from there the rest of all the best of the old city in Salzburg. Above all else, the hotel staff- particularly the concierge and porter staff- made the stay truly spectacular! The front desk was effortlessly bilingual and (graciously!) tolerated our broken German but were more than happy to engage in English when our vocabulary was lacking. They were fun, providing good recommendations, and most of all ensured that our stay was easy, enjoyable, and fulfilling! The room was great, very comfortable pillows, awesome river view, wonderful breakfast, a true 10/10 stay. We booked this hotel on a whim, but will definitely be returning to Salzburg, this location, and the exceptional staff on future visits!

Great location for the city center. Extremely hospitable staff and the rooms are spacious with comfortable beds. The breakfast is a fancy affair with good quality products. If you are lucky and there is a classical music concert in  the auditorium, then you are in for a treat! Mozart at your doorstep.
