I've stayed in many hostels all over the world. Small and intimate ones. But also chain hostels like this one.
I'm not a fan of this specific one. The reception desk and hallway are spacious. Yet, not inviting to spend some time there and relax. The guest kitchen is isolated and very small. And there isn't a dining room close by. The annoying part, it's a a maze. There's one elevator to go to to some parts of the floor. We wanted to avoid crowded elevators. But it seemed impossible to find the right stairway to the reception desk. No wonder people took the elevator, even when they only had to go 1 floor up. It's utterly annoying there are no signs pointing you in the direction of the reception desk/ hallway. There's rubbish here and there. You would think the girl at the reception desk would pick it up. But she was busy using her smartphone. Our family room was big enough and clean. But it has small windows and a closet in front of one. Blocking daylight. Also, one of the main lights wasn't working. We left the windows open when we left. And our room had a comfortable temperature on a very hot day, when we returned. Breakfast was alright. Lots of things were empty when we arrived at 9. We had to wait a long time to get some rolls. I would not recommend staying here, even though I always enjoy staying at hostels.
