Treacys Hotel Waterford

Very well kept Clean Hotel. Lovely friendly staff very helpful. Food was beautiful Breakfast and dinner and the staff work extremely hard to serve. Great location in the city close to everything especially the train station. Some of the rooms are very far from Reception and bar so if you suffer with mobility or other forms of illness that prevent you from walking far it's hard. The Car park is two streets behind also which was hard for some of our party. The bar is nice and has a kids room at the back to entertain them. The swimming pool is lovely also. My father in law is in a wheelchair and his needs were met greatly. They also switched our room to allow us to be close to him as he needed the help. It was his birthday weekend and they accommodated us to get in early and set his room up with balloons etc and were very helpful bringing his cake in to sing happy birthday for him, and a complimentary box of chocolates also which was a nice touch. A special shout out to Marion who was just wonderful and a natural host to us and  everyone she encountered. It's safe to say we will be back again for another stay here, thank you all.

Came down here paddy's day for dinner and drinks. I had a great day down here the food was lovely. What I loved most about this place is the kids were entertained all day as they had a soft play area. I really really enjoyed it down the the atmosphere was great. I didn't rate the rooms as I didn't stay here the night.

Very friendly staff and food was delicious. Beds very comfortable and rooms clean and warm with lots of towels etc. I liked that it is so central and just a short walk to supermarkets and tourist attractions.  The swimming pool area could do with updating but I still had a nice swim. Was there with 5 daughters and we all enjoyed our stay very much. Would book again.

Enjoy out stay at this location. Rooms clean and tidy with free  parking around the corner. Cars and motorcycles / entrance door locked at night for piece of mind... Great stop for two wheeled travelling. Nice little breakfast in the morning to start the day off
