The Plaza Hotel Venice

The hotel is just in front of the train station and the bus stop with destination to piazzale Roma in Venice. The family room was very spacious. Very convenient is the restaurant at the ground floor where you can order and take the meal in the room. The staff (depends on the shift) helpful but communication in English is a bit problematic. If you need a taxi to the airport it is just across the road and much cheaper than the one that the hotel will book for you. I would say value for money.

Plaza Venice Hotel. The hotel very beautiful, clean, big room and big toilet. We love the hotel so much, feel cozy & romantic too. After whole day long , we can have a good rest in such hotel. Highly recomended if you visit Venice. Easy access near to train station and restaurant is nearby.

If you want to get luxury on a budge, this is it! I did a 10 day tour of Europe and I’m soooooo happy this was my last stop. I went from “economy” rooms in Paris to heated towel racks and robes for the SAME price, here! They follow COVID rules (so, not the place to come if you’re not vaccinated), but fast forward, easy check-in, super polite staff. I got a standard double room and it’s the size of a studio apartment with a great view. The most comfy bed, extremely large tub, a cute little grooming kit with razors, q-tips, and a toothbrush in the bathroom! It’s large enough for a bed, chair, computer desk, full closet, with lots of storage. If you’ve ever taken a cruise, it gives you balcony suite vibes. Everything was super clean and they even clean your room daily (my stays in Switzerland and Paris didn’t clean during long stays). Again, the most affordable luxurious hotel I’ve stayed in, in terms of rooms and accommodations, maybe ever, even in the US. I don’t think you’ll find anywhere this nice for this rice, right across from the train station and near so many great food places. The only downside is it’s advertised that’s there’s a shuttle to the airport and breakfast, however, they’re not exclusive to the hotel and are additional costs.

Stayed here for 2 nights between 28 - 30 May, good location for travelling into Venice as there is a bus stop and train station really close. Mind you, it does take a while to get into San Marco/San Polo but the hotel is a good alternative to the poor value for money hotels available in the city centre. Hotel has good amenities but has poor sound proofing.
