Rooms were very clean and had air conditioning. We heard quite a bit of noise but were able to sleep through much of it having walked so much during the day. The rooms were quaint and had tall ceilings. The shower pressure was great, but the square shower enclosuremade it very tight to wash yourself without banging wach corner. We did not have a view of the canal unfortunately but did spend most of the time out sightseeing. The roof terrace is fab, there is a bar open from 3pm, though on a couple of days a large section was reserved for parties. This didn't affect our ability to find a table on the terrace. There are a few shaded areas which were most welcome. Great view of the train station opposite.
