The breakfast was a super positive surprise! That's why 4 stars. Price is also very affordable, and the rooms were not that bad. When we were there, the hostel was very silent. Notice that u need to go to pick the keys from the other side of the city.

Check-in was in other place 45 minutes walk. And this info was not available before I reached the majatalo. Luckily there was someone who checked me in and give the key so finlly everyrhing worked out just fine. The place is old, but more or less clean. Good enough for one night sleep.

Extremely dirty. Bloodstains on walls and pillows, moldy chair, smelled like there has been smoked 20 years, all the cooking dishes were dirty, dust everywhere. Balcony door broken, we couldnt get it closed. Neighbours very loud. We called to reception about this all and all we got was "these are c-grade flats so they are like c-grade flats".

I do not understand complaints about the age of the building. Most of the buildings are not new. Of course, the rooms show the age, but I would rather describe it as a nice patina of time. The “smell” in the bathrooms is also not from tobacco. Old bathrooms often have that slightly stale smell. For example, when traveling in Russia, every toilet I went to smelled the same, but the smell was much stronger. I think quite a nice place and cheap.
