Below expectations!
I stayed two nights during a business trip to Stockholm. I really expect more from a five star hotel. The room was extremely small with only minimum requirements for a hotel like this. Besides this I found the restaurant sub standard. Staying at a hotel like this I expect more than hamburgers and a couple of salmon dishes on offer as well as a more extensive wine list. It would not be possible to offer client a business dinner in relation to the five stars the hotel have. On top of this the bar close at 22 in the evening which is way to early. On the positive side is the location as well as the service level of the staff in the reception.

Fantastic hotel in a fantastic location
The hotel is located a skip and a jump from Nybrokajen, the Royal theatre & Kungsträdgården.
A short stroll and you're in the very city of Stockholm: Östermalm.
The boats out to the archipelago is a five minutes walk. You have the tram, busses & subway very near by.
The hotel has an elegant & classic style with all modern facilities you can ask for.
The staff at the front desk are very professional, helpful & friendly.
We had breakfast included in our price. It's one of the absolute best hotel breakfasts we ever experienced. A huge collection of
very good quality, tasty and you get your coffee to your preference.
Clean & tidy.
We had a room facing out to the Nybrokajen. Wonderful views over the water and the the boats.
Our room faced towards the water & Nybrokajen. The room wasn't big but had everything you could need or want. A very comfortable bed & linnen. Big flat screen TV, bathroom with a big walk in shower, robes & slippers & two generous wardrobes.
Even though you are in the inner city of Stockholm it's calm & quiet.
Highly recommended this hotel.
A tip before booking: if you book via Agoda you get miss led by the room sizes & also if you get a waterfront view or not.
Better is to book directly with the hotel.

Fantastic Start to a Vacation
We vacationed in June 2018. We booked the "Presidential Suite" or whatever they call their largest suite. It consisted of a living room, changing room, bathroom and bedroom and was very, very nice. (They have only 3 or 4 of these rooms.)

The windows had very thick blackout curtains which is needed to be able to sleep. (Keep in mind that it never gets very dark in the summer.) The bed was comfortable and the bathroom very modern. We enjoyed 2 flat screen TVs, both of which were smart TVs so we were able to connect to Netflix, etc.

The morning breakfast was wonderful. Way to much food and it was all great. I ate too much each morning.

The location is terrific. It is a 3-10 minute walk from everywhere. We located several wonderful restaurants nearby. There is a 7-11 convenience store a block away where we stocked up on sodas and snacks.

Overall our experience was fantastic. Remember to bring a jacket or sweater as it is cool there. Also check out the "Stockholm Pass". We have used these deal in several cities but we found it to be a very good value on this vacation.

This Collection, Can't
The service should have been better. Weird check-in experience, felt like if i don't pay extra to get the breakfast offer together with the room upgrade, i will not receive high floor room, as requested upon reservation.. i was too tired to discuss further, since the hotel didn't care about my request, i received a room on the first floor .. modern and nice for one person with really nice shower.
The room which overlooks the inner part of the hotel can make you feel claustrophobic - no day light in the room, the window does not open. There was not adequate light in the room and is quite difficult to study if you are travelling for business. I didn't find it a luxurious property. First time staying in the Collection brand of RHG and i can't say that i wish to visit any other property of this new brand.
The BLU is much better.
Breakfast was okay, but nothing special. Liked the Mobile Application. Expected Smart TV in the room.

Pleasant place to stay
Beautiful hotel, nicely renovated! Rooms are a bit small but the environment compensated for that.
Love to stay here.

Improvements :
-Better and more fitness equipment (TechnoGym for example) and for breakfast some change once in a while.

-Would be great if you could also offer soy yoghurt or coconut yoghurt (lactose free options).

-Friendlier and more proactive service in the restaurant

Nice hotel with very small and hot room
My room was very small and very hot. Tried to open the windows but then the street noice keept me awake. Wifi was very good a little slow to connect (slow ip-garden) but wants you where on it was fast enough. Staff was very professional and quick to solve any questions or problems. My email and my SAS eurobonus nr. is part of my carlson wagonlit travel profile but that was not transferred to your hotel system ... don't like to spell my email address or EB nr every time I come to a hotel. Should be automatically transferred as part of my booking.

Wonderful Waterfront Hotel
We had a great 3 night stay in Stockholm. Our room was on the first floor overlooking the harbour. It was a really beautiful view.

Location wise it is a short walk to the downtown shopping precinct.

We visited in December and the Christmas lights were breathtaking.

The room was super comfortable and plush.
Breakfast was top class.

A very nice and well appointed hotel with good food and service
This hotel on the banks of the waterway, is very well appointed and located. The front desk is very efficient and helpful . The rooms are well appointed though there are differences between one floor and other due to the architecture of the building . The higher rooms have better views and less disturbance from the street. The bath amenities are very good and generous and the linen and towels are very good . There is adequate cupboard and shelf space. The heating system is a bit confusing as it does not display the temperature and one could not figure out what activated the heating radiators . There is no iron and ironing board in the room, though they provide it on request.
Concierge services were good and they were rather helpful with the baggage rooms and storage. We requested a late check out and they did the best they could.
The breakfast is very sumptuous with a good spread. Food quality was good and prices were reasonable , though service for a la carte was a bit slow albeit attentive,.
The gym is disappointing . Small windowless room with just two treadmills and a cross trainer. There is no emergency button or helpline . This can be a safety risk. There is no wall clock or weighing scale.
They charged us extra for breakfast but were very efficient and prompt in reversing the charge
A very well run hotel – we enjoyed our stay .

I really enjoyed my stay at Radisson Strand. The location of this hotel is perfect for a short stay in Stockholm with the short proximity to all the attractions and locations in the centre.

The staff were so friendly, rooms were clean and breakfast was amazing, I live in England and they had everything on the menu that I miss on a daily basis and they even went out to purchase 'Filmjolk' for my dauther, over and beyond as far as I am conserned.

I also managed to lose my car key in my room and without hesitation they were sent them to me by post. I can highly recommend this hotel

This hotel stay reconnected me with the Radisson Group (I had been a little disappointed of late), the staff are just brilliant, welcoming and always wiling to assist or think of a solution if there‘s a challenge - thank you to the team. The breakfast is great with a very good variety of quality food; if I‘m being hyper critical the coffee isn‘t great but the service makes up for it. Great location with some great views from the hotel itself and access to the major sites; I got great restaurant recommendations throughout the stay (thanks Victoria). Downsides - beds are somewhat soft (although hotel wiling to provide wooden planks for back support) and the gym is pretty basic to say the least (a couple of cardio machines and few light dumbbells). Overall, the stay was great and would recommend the hotel

What a suburb experience. I arrived late at night coming from Italy. The concierge was the most caring person to my long journey, my fatigue and my well being. The room was fantastic, the breakfast was also beyond excellent. Suffice to say that is my favorite hotel in Stockholm after 100+ visits. Keep up the good work.

Great hotel, god livsstil, relaxing, but your standard business hotel, and,  somewhat, missing a workplace in the room. Love being there and enjoying a relaxing breakfast rather than staying around in a large breakfast buffet at other hotels.

Safe to say this is probably the nicest hotel in Stockholm, and this comes from someone who actually has been trough hotels from Grand to Diplomat. I just loved the chic interior with designer details, and was just overwhelmed with the beautiful location and the view from the room. The staff was INCREDIBLY helpful and filling to make everything perfect for us. The food at the hotel was great and don’t even get me started with the breakfast. Every, single, product, on the breakfast table was not only well made but also organic and fresh. This hotel is a true must if staying in Stockholm. Forth every single penny.

Staff is amazing, the rooms are super! Especially if you from time to time travel with your family. The rooms are great (I always make sure we have sea view). Fridge in the room, coffe and the which is perfect when you also have a little one. You can easy heat up some baby food with hot water. The most wonderful staff, was an English speaking lady (I never got her name) but she was from Argentina) she was so amazing towards us and my son 10/10 stars just for her.
