Original Sokos Hotel Vaakuna, Rovaniemi

From the moment we arrived until we left they behaved badly with us,the peoples are very cold even in the city. We paid enough for the room and we didn't have heating,they brought us a radiator. The breakfast is not very varied and the rooms and bathrooms need renovation. But not only in the hotel ,all over city. Wherever you go you have to put attention on the bills. At the restaurants and at the mall they put in extras what we didn't order and bought,and after they said it was a mistake. I'm sorry we decided to spend our vacation here,we are very disappointed.

Double room with extra bed for the kid was very nice and spacious. Location was very convenient, close to restaurants and city center, Santa bus stop in front of the hotel. Sauna was great. Breakfast was ok. Unfortunately there was some noise from the corridors.

Clean rooms. Very close to city center where you can find shopping mall. Restaurants, coffee shops and more. Staff are very kind and generous. Very good breakfast daily.

We stayed in a room with double bed. The room had plenty of space and it was just next to the guest sauna's and kids playroom. We left our car at the parking hall (the fee was 12e, so not bad price at all). The breakfast was really tasty and there was plenty of options to choose from. We got excellent service through the whole time we stayed! Definitely a good place to stay when you visit Rovaniemi! Thank you!
