WOW, WOW, WOW!!!!!
I challenge you to find a better hotel than this in Prague! What an absolutely incredible hotel! First of all the location of The Emblem is second to none, it is literally steps from Old Town Square (in fact, we could actually see the Tyn church from our bedroom window), all of Prague’s tourist attractions are within a few minutes walking distance, which makes it a really convenient base for exploring (especially in winter, when it’s really, really cold and you don’t want to walk too far!). The hotel is incredibly stylish and very high end, our room was absolutely beautiful, very contemporary, but never clinical, very cosy!! It is clear that no expense has been spared on this hotel and everything is of the highest calibre. I have to take a minute to tell you just how comfortable our bed was! The linen was of a fabulous quality and the bed made getting up to go sightseeing VERY difficult- I didn’t want to leave! It felt like sleeping on a cloud! !I was really, really impressed with our room, and despite the central location, it was so peaceful and quiet, I got a perfect night’s sleep every night! If you are planning to stay at The Emblem, you must check out the Spa on the top floor- we hired the jacuzzi space just for the two of us and it was honestly one of the best memories we have of beautiful Prague! The view up there is fantastic and having the whole terrace and jacuzzi to yourselves is so romantic! We were even brought a bottle of Prosecco too! The price for the private hire of the terrace and jacuzzi, including Prosecco m, was quite reasonable for the experience! What really makes this hotel, (apart from the fact that it is absolutely gorgeous), is the staff here!! I spoke with Erika beforehand to make sure our stay was a memorable one, and the little touches she ensured were applied to our beautiful room, were really appreciated- also, each and every one of the other staff members at the hotel always said hello whenever they saw us and really did their utmost to ensure every single guests stay was special. It’s hard to find service like that these days! So a big thank you to all of the staff at The Emblem, for making our stay such an enjoyable and memorable one! We will 100% be back again in the future!! Ps please do try the steak restaurant within the hotel! (George Prime Steak)The Filet Mignon I had was to die for!! (And again, all of the staff there were very attentive)We could not have asked for any more here! Thank you Emblem!!!

Wonderful Hotel in a Great Location
Myself and my partner have just returned from our stay at The Emblem Hotel over Valentine’s Day. From the moment we walked through the doors to the minute we left the staff could not have been more helpful and pleasant. The two hour “happy hour” is a great idea and the rooftop jacuzzi experience on Valentine’s Day was something else. Finally the location of the hotel is excellent 30 seconds walk from the Old Town Square which is beautiful and 5 minutes from Charles Bridge. We look forward to returning to this hotel and to Prague in the very near future.

Short Break
This was our second trip to Prague but the first staying at the Emblem Hotel. We had mixed feelings about our stay as there were some negative aspects but as these are our personal views others may not find them an issue.

Positives - The hotel is very well located and only minutes away from the centre of town and Charles Bridge. We booked a small room which was fine for a weekend break but for a longer stay a larger room would be better. Although I prefer separate showers, the small rooms come with a bath and integral shower but the pressure was good and easy to operate. Everywhere was very clean and fresh smelling and each room has a mobile for customer use to take out of the hotel. We did not use this service which is free but I guess it is more useful for non EU residents where roaming charges would apply for google maps etc. Airport pick up/drop off was booked and worked well and the cost was only marginally above a standard taxi rate. The cocktail bar offered a good selection of beverages and would make anything not detailed on the menu. Prices were great value with 3 cocktails and a sprite being the equivalent of £23.00. George is the steak restaurant which is part of the hotel. The food was as good as any steak house in London and the service impeccable. Prices are especially high for Prague but equivalent to what we would pay in London. If you are not staying on a budget it would definitely be worth a visit. On the first day breakfast was well organised and the buffet was always topped up. You were served efficiently and the duty manager directed staff efficiently to ensure all customers were served in order of being seated.

Negatives – Our room was 101. This is on the first floor next to the open atrium /entrance lobby, above the bar and opposite the hotel office. Noise is unacceptably loud and for our entire stay we did not get much sleep. We were woken up throughout the night by a combination of general hotel noise/street noise but I would expect higher level rooms not to experience the same noise issues as us. Our second breakfast was far removed from the genuinely nice experience the day before. There was no manager on duty and the staff could not operate without direction. Having asked for a simple filter coffee 3 times it eventually appeared 20 minutes later. Buffet items had been depleted and were left empty and staples such as glasses and orange juice were not refilled. After others who were seated after us were served cooked orders I manager to catch a waiter and finally place an order. When it finally came it was incorrect. The layout of the restaurant places large groups down the middle and couples around the outside. Unfortunately we were next to a corporate group who were undertaking a photo shoot for Max Magazine. There were ten of them and due to their numbers were way too loud for the space allocated. Also as they were discussing contract terms etc it is not something leisure guests want to start their day with. Unfortunately we were all sat in similar positions the next day but the noise was made worse by problems encountered on their “shoot” which we were all made to hear about. Lastly the concierge should be the go to person for making bookings and general advice. When I asked the gentleman to confirm my dinner reservation I was told to go to the restaurant and do it myself.

For me the noise and service issues are important and because of these areas I would not go back again to Emblem. However if you are more relaxed and not service orientated then I am sure you will enjoy your stay but where ever you book in Prague a visit to George steak restaurant should be a must.

An enjoyable weekend
We had an enjoyable stay that unfortunately had a few slip-ups related to service. In the lead up to the trip the concierge service was highly responsive to our questions (we had a lot as we were traveling with a baby). We booked transfers to and from the airport with a baby seat. On the way in this was seamless and the check in staff were very attentive. The rooms were small but very nice with a great bed and large bathroom. Broadly clean but soap scum on the shower glass detracted a little. The idea of having socks to buy in the room was great!.

Location is unbeatable between Charles Bridge and the Old Town Square. Breakfast was lovely and staff were very attentive and got a high chair for our daughter. Unfortunately when we went to have dinner we were told that there were no reservations free. That's fine but the tone of the hostess was very bad and she basically laughed at us. We also returned 90 minutes later and the restaurant was no more than half full. Certainly felt like we were barred because we had the little one with us. Even if not the attitude of the staff was highly disrespectful.

The final issue was the car that came to pick us up had no car seat (as we had ordered and then confirmed). Not such a big deal as we had brought our own just in case but an attention to detail thing.

What a charming hotel!
So, if you want to be in the old town Prague- you should book this place! Its personal, clean, classy and in the middle of old town! The rooftop jacuzzi is really special, it give the ultimate jacuzzi experience! The massages in the spa is a bit overprized- but the treatment was good. The hotel is full of cool art and design, it gives a exclusive touch. Breakfast was amazing, they have everything the heart desire- all is high quality food! For me personally, I was so excited that they serve my favourite champagne by glass! Sweet staff, at all time avaiable. Good, big, soft beds- and a quite hotel. Small, luxury solutions as lavendel-spray to create a good sleeping experience, and good bathrobes.

Just ok
What we liked:
•Location- easy to walk everywhere we wanted from here
•Rooftop hot tub- 80€ for an hour with a bottle of champagne and a stunning view of the castle
•Steak house- delicious steak & cocktails great service!
•Common area- where you could get tea, coffee, and water at any time

What we did not like:
•Customer service- overall poor customer service. We tried making reservations for the steakhouse at 6:30 and the hostess said 7 works better for them. Instead of putting the needs of the paying customer first. This morning at breakfast I heard a hotel guest asking for a mimosa to take back to his room. They asked if the customer had talked to a manger about it. Just really not sure why it was such a big deal to request a mimosa to go at a 5 star hotel. Also before we arrived we called to see if they could help us make dinner Christmas Eve reservations ahead of time. We never heard back from them. Unfortunately I could go on and on about the poor customer service...
•Spa- We called multiple times to book a couples massage. They could not accommodate us even though we were willing to come anytime during the day. They did not call us back. We were leaving for the day and asked the front desk if they could help us coordinate with the spa to schedule treatment since we had no success on our own. The front desk called on her phone and then handed the phone to us to take care of it ourselves.
•Checking out- the credit card machine was not working so she told us she had to cancel it and it could take 3-5 business days and to watch our account. She ended up having to do the transaction online instead.
•The room- bathtub drain was slightly clogged, the rooms are very small, the minibar red wine was terrible.

My husband and I have traveled all over the world and have stayed in many 4-5 star hotels. We would say this is more of a 4 star not 5 star. A 5 star hotel puts the needs of the paying guests first. We traveled to Prague from Copenhagen and our hotel in Copenhagen gave us daily food/drink credits, a small Christmas gift in our room, and made us feel welcome from the beginning. I wish I could say the same about The Emblem Hotel. This was a real let down for us. We tried our best to be understanding since it was Christmas time and the staff is working instead of spending time with family... but I personally would not stay here again.

Perfect location and quiet area, close to the center.
We just arrived after a weekend spent to discover the city and couldn’t be happier really!
The hotel disposed of extra amenities such as welcome drinks, games room, tea room; the room was clean, quiet and the location of the hotel is super close to the center.
Staff members at the reception were friendly, welcoming and polite, with the exception of Veronica, that committed with us 2 stupid mistakes: she confirmed us a room with 2 single beds (esential to assure us a good rest) but didn’t process the request finally so it was very disappointing to discover that we had to sleep in a king size bed :(
Also when we asked her about the time table of the breakfast for Monday 24th the day before, she said at 10 when in reality it was till 10.30 so we lost some time to rest (she sent a letter apologizing but we thought that having these kind of mistakes could be easily avoided just double check in what we asked and being as nice as the rest of her colleagues).
Anyway and despite of this we’d come back and would recommend to everyone for sure.
Recommendations asked to others receptionist were super and really helped us to enjoy the local food.

I was staying in the hotel just for one night. The hotel team is very friendly, kind and polite. The room is small but there is everything you need for the short time staying, especially the location of the hotel is the best, just 1 minute by walk from the OldTown square. With this super location you don't need to spend a lot of time in the room :) I had a room with a view on patio, it's not a picturesque so if you need the room with a view on the street it's better to ask about it during the booking. The SPA is nice but small and there are a lack of sitting places in the relaxing room, the most smart guests book their chairs :)) The breakfast was fine enough as for the continental. The restaurant is great for the dinner! The best steak restaurant in Prague

I stayed one night at this hotel after missing my flight to Dubai. I found it last minute & was very happy that they could get me a suite on such short notice. I stayed at the terrace suite, which for me was a bit small, but still very cosy actually. It had a nice bathtub with window next to it and a big balcony, that for me is probably most important thing. The bed was also comfy. I had a really nice breakfast served the morning after to my room, but unfortunately they did not offer dinner from what i understood. I think the restaurant was closed the day i was there or something?
I did go the gym they had, it was alright, you could find what you need for basic workout. Overall a good stay here. I also very much enjoyed the art in my room & in the hotel. Was really nice.

Great designed hotel in the heart of Prague! Team could help me with all questions.
Located at the very heart of Prague and perfectly reachable by car (which is not the case for all hotels in city center due to a huge pedestrian zone).

The Emblem is, without a doubt, the best place I have ever stayed. The whole hotel is beautifully designed and the rooms are beautiful and allow lots of natural light in - particularly those looking onto the main street. The downstairs kitchen and lounge rooms are incredibly well designed with the only drawback being you’re tempted never to get out into Prauge! That's hard to do though as the location is also absolutely perfect, each of The Old Town Square, Charles Bridge and Staromestka metro/ tram station are within two minutes walk. There is no other place to stay as perfectly placed between those three things.
The staff are also so lovely, and I particularly want to thank Katka, Jakub, and Petr who were so friendly throughout my stay. I am confident there’s not a better place to stay in the whole of Prauge, so enjoy if you ever get the chance to come here!

Description

Location
We want to present Prague as we feel it to be—one of the most beguiling and transcendental cities in the world—and we want to be the heart that guides you through it.
We are a home for travellers and a haven for locals, dedicated to creating a community in the very heart of the city.

Rooms
Conceptually the rooms have been created as bedrooms—smaller, yet tastefully put together in a way that makes any traveller feel at ease, especially when enveloped in The Emblem’s overall communal atmosphere like one would find in a traditional home.

We also understand that traditional homes tend to offer more space, so we created The M Lounge to be the Living Room of The Emblem—the perfect place for you as a guest to hang out and use however you like. If you’re ever feeling a little cramped, you can always head down to the lower level of the hotel and explore what this unique space has to offer!

Food & Drink
The hotel is partnered with the swish, dimly lit George Prime Steak restaurant next door, which serves some of the best organically raised USDA Prime beef the city has to offer (and some excellent Californian and French wines).
