Just Perfect
I had the pleasure to stay at the Augustine with my partner last weekend and we couldn't be happier with our choice! The hotel building is an old convent from the 16th Century! So much history! And then you walk-in... and you are welcomed by everything you could expect from a Luxury Collection property! Elegant, warm.

The hotel staff is absolutely fantastic!! I contacted them in advance requesting a "king size bed" and, would like to say thank you to Marketa for helping me with my request!
The Doormen were the TOP! All very helpful and friendly! So were the Reception staff - specially the day receptionists and Concierge. The night receptionist did not seem so happy.

The bedrooms are Very spacious and comfortable.
The breakfast is fantastic and (again) the staff at the breakfast room is very very very welcoming!

I felt at home!
And I will be back!

Thank you!

Phenomenal property and ideal location
My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at the Augustine for our first visit to Prague. I was a bit worried that it wasn’t central enough when I simply looked on the map, but I figured it would be lovely as a Luxury Collection property... and with the Four Seasons nearby, it was in good company.

The Augustine exceeded all expectations! The property was stunningly renovated, the service was impeccable, and the location was a perfect distance from the Charles Bridge and the castle - close enough to access everything, and yet we felt like we were able to retire to our own little enclave each evening...

Highly recommended, and I can’t wait to visit again!

Fantastic in every possible way
I'm not sure what to rave about first - the people, the level of service, the hotel itself, the location? We arrived around mid-day after a long night of travel from the US, and our suite wasn't yet ready for check in. Sensing our disappointment and knowing we were absolutely exhausted, the desk manager gave us the only available room in the hotel to nap and freshen up until we were able to check in several hours later. How many hotels anywhere in the world would do this for their guests? Once in our reserved suite (following that much-needed rest), we were greeted with flowers, chocolates, and a special martini concoction in recognition of our anniversary. I can't begin to say enough about how wonderful the staff is at the Augustine. Any time we needed anything, they were immediately responsive to every request. By day two of our stay, it seemed as if each staff member knew us by name. We were always greeted with smiles, assistance and appreciation. This is a really special place staffed with terrific, top-notch personnel. And the Tower Suite is amazing!

Incredible service and luxury
From the moment you arrive at the Augustine you are greeted warmly and feel at home. My room was amazing and I had a welcome gift of a pretzel, sausages and their own St Thomas beer waiting for me. Hit the spot after traveling. The brewery is very nice - wished I had more time to spend there. I enjoyed the sauna in the spa. The breakfast every morning was lovely. And the location just a short walk from the Charles Bridge was perfect!! The staff could not have been nicer. Treat yourself to a stay here!!

Wonderful stay
We had a wonderful stay at this well-located hotel. The location is really perfect. While you're not in "the center" of Prague, you probably don't want to be there, unless you love teeming crowds and noise. We were within a 20 minute walk of the center, and the immediate neighborhood is actually very charming--great for strolling and exploring without a constant struggle against crowds of people.

Our room was well-appointed and comfortable, with a terrific bath and shower. There was room to fully unpack, which is always a plus, and the bed was quite comfortable. Housekeeping service was excellent. Everything was very clean. We also had the best (both in terms of service and food quality) room service meal we ever experienced. All of our encounters with hotel personnel were satisfactory--the staff clearly want to please. In addition, the breakfast was beautifully presented and delicious each morning. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed. We felt very lucky to be staying at this hotel and would certainly try to stay there again when we return to Prague.

The Hotel has it all except for place for guests at Christmas Eve’s dinner
The hotel is an amazing place and we would have truly enjoyed it would not be for one major flaw. We booked our stay until 25th and we were planning to have also Chrismass dinner there. But despite being in touch with reception at least week ahead of our arrival I was not told that the restaurat will not be available. I have asked about this later in the evening at the arrival and I was told that the reception can’t confirm the availaility - this was on 22nd. Next day morning I spoke to conceirge and I was told that there are no places available and we can’t even have the Christmas menu in our room and our only option at the hotel is regular room-service menu.

This is really strange to me. I booked the stay with points + utilizing expiring vouchers for upgrade to suite and basically lost 150k points on two night stay. We are used to stay at hotels during Chrismas, it makes our life with our 4 years old child easier, but so far it has never happened to me that despite paying premium price for the Christmas Eve, we would stay without food. Roomservice menu was not an option... so we have ended up leaving day earlier and cooking at home, as our favourite restaurants in Prague were already fully booked. I would expect more proffesional approach. This should have beed communicated well ahead, Ideally during reservation. I really think it is normal to expect that if you stay somewhere during the Christmas you want to also have decent Christmas dinner.

So generally it is really great place in heart of Prague, just take into consideration that the dinners are served at beautiful Refractory Restaurant which has capacity for maybe only 20-24 people. In fact just because of this they should not be able to get 5* as they simple do not have enough capacity for their guests at dinner time generally.

But the breakfast was good (despite basic items like waffles and omelette were charged extra again not very common) and their Bar is amazing, with really great quality of drinks. There I will return for sure :).

Perfect Hotel for a Great Stay in Praha
My wife and I spent 3 nights here last week. We were pampered and cared for from the moment we walked in. The staff, the room, the restaurants were all outstanding.
The location is almost perfect. A three minute walk from the Charles bridge. Another 3-5 minutes and you are in old town. A little further takes you to the Jewish Quarter. The steps to the castle are near the hotel as well. A small square within a 2 minute walk that includes shopping and restaurants. A special treat was a small Christmas Market set up on that square while we were there.
The great final touch was provided when we had to check out early (5:30 AM) to go to the airport. We were provided with breakfast to go. This was not simply a pastry or two. This breakfast included (for each of us) two small sandwiches, two pieces of fruit, two pastries, a bottle of orange juice and a bottle of water.
This will definitely be our hotel of choice when we return to this beautiful city.

A Magical Stay in a Amazing City
The Augustine Hotel is quite simply the finest ... from the warm welcome to the cozy bedding ... the delectable food to the sumptuous cocktails ... the St Thomas Brewery Bar to the Refectory ... and of course the excellent service. Our stay here was simply fabulous! The treasures of Prague were right at our feet with this outstanding location. They say if you touch the gold spot on the two plaques at the center of the Charles Bridge, at the same time, you will return to Prague, so we did. I pray it’s true and I pray when we return we stay, once again, at The Augustine!

Doesn’t get better than this
This charming property is a real Prague gem! The converted monastery makes for unique, interesting architecture that is refreshingly unlike usual hotels. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful.

The room we had was spacious and well equipped; the only gripe I have is that the noise from the trams could get quite loud and they even made some of the furniture rattle, though they seemed to stop running fairly early, so its wasn‘t a major issue. But its definitely a good idea to check room types and locations when booking.

The location of the hotel couldn’t be better in my opinion. Its across the river from the old town, so its away from the crowds. Yet everything is still walking distance... the Charles Bridge is a couple of minutes walk as is the beautiful St. Nicholas church; the old town is 20 minutes away while the stairs leading up to Prague Castle are just around the corner. One really couldn’t ask for more!
