Hotel Boa-Vista

Friendly, very well situated, high standard, and outstanding value. Pool and bar on the roof with great views.  Excellent gin and tonics, but don't choose the burger on the list of snacks. Sound-proofing could be better to guard against noisy guests, large choice at breakfast but bacon needs to be more crispy. I have been back several times, and would be quite happy to live there.

We had a great time at the Boa Vista. The terrace is awesome! The hotel is well located. The beach is close and the historic town is easy to reach by tram or e-roller. The room was clean, but the bed was a bit to hard. Carlos at the rooftop bar was very friendly. For the price you get a good accommodation.

Very nice hotel in Foz, rooftop swimming pool with sea views. We had a spacious and clean room on the backside. Breakfast was good,  sufficient selection. Morning and evening can be very fresh, close to tram line 1, the touristic transport to Porto centre. Or take bus 500 or a taxi to the very nice centre of the port wine centre with its great historic buildings and colourful houses. Btw, I recommend a guided electrical bicycle trip through the centre at the start of your visit; you will see most in a short time.

The staff were very friendly. The beds and pillows need to be updated. It was very uncomfortable. The rooms were too hit. The location is good for the beach and bad for everything else. If you want to tour the city or do wine yours then stay somewhere else.
