Aparthotel Oporto Alves da Veiga

Beautifully designed apartments and in a great location. Unfortunately the night before I checked out our room was randomly cleaned and my pyjamas went missing. I reported this as soon as I got back from dinner when I noticed them missing. What I assumed was an honest mistake (even though a clean was not requested) was dealt with really badly by the manager of the apartments (Joana) whose response was “We happen to find many of our guests' belongings on a regular basis, and we have no problem in posting it back to them. We're oftentimes the ones establishing contact letting the guest know what was left behind and how they wish to proceed. Sadly it wasn't the case this time, so we cannot take any responsibility in this particular case, since there is no evidence the shorts were indeed left in our premises.” She has since ignored my following emails and no sign of a refund for my missing property!

Very clean, very friendly crew and a nice garden but the beds were only folding beds out of the closets, so I already had more comfy beds but it Was okay. Also a Coat stand would be great, but for a City Trip this was a good place.

Everything was perfect in our stay. Really calm area in Porto, near the center and within a walking distance from most of the places in the center. The hotel is really nice, the outdoor is absolutely wonderful, and the apartment was fabulous. Well decorated, with everything to cook a meal, and with a nice tv. Really comfortable and well decorated. I totally recommend and I wish to stay there next time I go to Porto! Loved it!

What a hidden gem in the middle of Porto! Behind the huge old door you find a great place with an amazing garden (including pool). We stayed at the penthouse apartment which has all the comfort and luxury you wish. Staff is very helpfully and polite. Both families and couples will find here their true holiday vibe!
