Excellent hotel and great location
We visit the hotel every year. It has a large great cat named Elliott, who acts as if he owns the place. Great service by the concierge and front desk staff. Always attentive and with plenty of advice. Location is amazing. Walking distance to the Place de Madeline, Opera, Department stores, and other 1st, 8th or 9th quarter attractions.

This hotel is located probably on the best area in Paris for a turist. Close to aost everything and most withing walking distance with a few exceptions.
It is very modern rooms are comfortable, and large, and we recommend to get teh breakfast deal since the bread is made fresh there everyday.

Where are the amenities?
The hotel and physical room itself was outstanding and beautifully decorated. The concierge staff were also extremely helpful and knowledgeable. However, there were several amenities listed on the hotel website that were supposed to be included in our Duplex Suite room that were not. We were charged for mini-bar consumption when the site says that this room comes with "free minibar snacks and soft-drinks". We also never received the welcome amenity of sparkling wine or the farewell gift both listed on the website. No one seemed to know anything about the advertised "pillow menu" either. In addition, the complementary mineral water was never replaced after check in. The lack of these services and amenities was very disappointing for a $600+ a night room.

A very nice stay with excellent service
Unlike several of the previous reviewers, we thoroughly enjoyed out stay at the Castille Paris. We had booked a Superior room which we knew would not be large but the furnishings and amenities were first class and the room was quiet pursuant to our request for a quiet room location. The hotel staff were courteous and efficient in responding to our questions and requests. The breakfast buffet with made to order omelets was good and we observed the staff replacing food items as needed. Halfway through our stay the staff reached out to us upon our return from a day of enjoying Paris to ask us if we objected to being moved because the service staff had detected a potential water leak problem in the bathroom. They upgraded us to a Duplex Jr Suite with the bedroom upstairs, several bathrooms, generous storage space and a living room area downstairs. They could have moved us to a similar superior or deluxe room but they stated when the problem is caused by the hotel, they always attempt a generous upgrade. The hotel is located next to Chanel just off Rue St. Honore and across the street from the Ritz which fronts Place Vendome just around the corner. The sole negative, which is beyond the control of the hotel, is the building next store is undergoing major renovation and based on your room location you may encounter daytime construction noise starting about 7:30 a.m.

Wonderful staff; some issues with the room. Still great experience.
Our room was right next to the renovations going on and quite loud at times. Our water was shut off the last night so no showers before getting on long flight to US. The staff did offer to get us some food or drink, and did offer another room to shower in, but it was too late. I will go back, just a bad experience this time.

I stayed at this hotel with my teenage daughter, my sister and my teenage niece. This was a rescheduled girls trip from early 2020. This was not the original hotel that we had chosen, but I am so glad that we decided to stay here. The location is excellent, walking distance to the Louvre, galleries Lafayette, good restaurants, and metro. The rooms are large. We had a split level room which gave us two bathrooms and a nice sitting area downstairs. The girls had their own room down the hall, which they really enjoyed with the extra space. The best thing about this hotel is the impeccable service. My daughter accidentally left her Apple Watch there. We did not discover this until we returned to the US. I emailed the hotel and they located it and held onto it until I was able to have somebody retrieve it for me and bring it back to the United States. They were very communicative and professional and facilitated getting the watch back to me. I have traveled to many places around the world and rarely encounter service in any industry as professional and thoughtful as this hotel staff was for us. I would absolutely stay here again

Hotel in posizione strategica in pieno centro a Parigi.
Personale super professionale e disponibile.
Camere confortevoli, pulite all'ennesima potenza, comodissime.

Nice place in a great location, nice staff and nice cosy bar. Let down by the fact our room was in desperate need of a refurbishment but no discount! The beds are very comfy, the room was spacious enough but windows that did not open or shut properly, bathrooms that need re-tiling and re-sealing, small showers and toilet cisterns that make a weird noise every few minutes!

Great Hotel situated in the 1eme arrondisement in Paris. Great Stuff and Service, room was really beautiful, incredibly warm and the bed was so comfy. I really enjoyed my stay there. Staff at the Bar was also great and food was great too. Really suggested to anyone who is thinking about booking an accommodation in paris.

We loved this place The Castille Paris is located in the 1st, this location  is centered perfectly to see, walk 14-45 mins,or bike to all major sights we wanted to see the shopping in the area is the best. The staff at desk are wonderful, maid service is great, and chef and waitstaff are superb. Food is mind blowing and the chocolate crescents, madalines and cappuccinos are to kill for.. I have never felt so spoiled. Thank you Castille Paris for making my daughter's birthday celebration best!

Definitely not a 5 star hotel. I would compare it to a 3 star boutique hotel (old +refurb).  I had to change rooms because the initial room was so small you had to slide past your bed to get into the bathroom. The “mini bar” does not have anything but water and the “bar” has very unpredictable hours (you have to always ask for someone to come help you). The elevators are very slow, so make sure you budget that into your transit time. Staff can be polite (hit or miss). Will not stay again. For almost 500usd a night, you can find way better options in Paris (especially with Amex Platinum).

Description

Location
With the original 1920s haute couture studio, apartment and boutique of Coco Chanel right next door, the location in the upmarket first arrondissement could not be swisher. The luxury jewellery and fashion designer shops of Place Vendôme and Rue Saint-Honoré are around the corner; Jardin des Tuileries and the Seine beyond are a five-minute walk south. Metro station Madeleine (line 8) is handy for flitting around the city

Style & character
At home in a trio of 19th-century hôtels particuliers (mansions), the Castille immerses guests in the heritage style and chic of a bourgeois Parisian home. Mixed with this is a rare (for Paris) dash of authentic Italian dolce vita: this luxury address belongs to family-owned Italian hotel group Star Collezione and as such, weds French panache with Italian flair to intoxicating perfection.

Rooms
The 108 rooms and suites are a cosy mix of elegant classicism and homely comfort. Doubles in the older Rivoli wing (your chance to peek into the neighbouring Chanel workshops) sport the most traditional décor, with Coco tweed carpets and mellow cream and taupe palettes. Those in the Opéra wing have dark parquet and cream, Moulin Rouge red or cyclamen accents. Original Murano mirrors and colourful contemporary glassware add a gorgeous Italian touch, as do the marble bathrooms with tub, hook shower and either Etro or Acqua di Parma amenities. Every room has an espresso machine, tea corner and generous cupboard space. Turndown service sweetens bedtime with a Jean-Paul Hévin chocolate on your pillow.

Value for money
Double rooms from €350 (£309), year-round. Breakfast €24-35 (21-31). Free Wi-Fi.
