Best location
I stayed for 2 nights for a shopping and culinary trip. I’ve always loved visiting Fauchon to buy gifts so when I found out they opened a hotel I had to try it out. The location is incredibly convenient, great for shopping it’s only a block away from St. Honoré.

The room I was in was on the top floor with a balcony, the room was intimate in size but the bathroom was very big. I loved the Carina products and Dyson blow dryer.

I had to cancel dinner plans one of the nights and had room service instead, a perfect hotel for that. Food was fantastic, even the soup came piping hot. I just wish they included a soup spoon and butter for the bread. I used the tea spoon from the gourmet bar and though I called down for the butter I never received it.

They encouraged I take the items from the gourmet bar, good thing I had lots of luggage allowance with my airline!

When even the power sockets are pretty. A dream of France come true.
Did you ever dream of “Schlaraffenland”, the country where food is flying in the air and you just have to grab it? Or being locked up in a candy store over night?
I have and Fauchon turned it into a hotel!
And it comes in all shades of prettycandy colours.

The same way the French are the masters of turning the most delicious desserts and sweets also into most beautiful ones, the Fauchon hotel has paid attention to making every single detail of its rooms pretty.
The welcome at the hotels starts with a welcome drink and macarons.
My room (think shades of rose) with a beautiful view of la Madeleine has even more macarons but the best: it had a beautiful Roche Bobois made giant “frigo bar” with loads of Fauchon delicacies (sweet and salty) and Champagne offered by the house.

My room was beautiful with large bathroom and next to being pretty it is also super high tech (Speakers, Tablets with Netflix ...) and even the power sockets are extremely beautiful.

The breakfast is, of course, divine!
And to finish, the staff is great. Very friendly and attentive and they make you feel like home (thanks Tim for the nice talk!).
France and the amazing French gastronomy and pâtisserie could not be better translated into a hotel.

Amazing room with views of the Eiffel Tower
My suite for the night was more like an apartment with floor to ceiling windows that opened up to a terrace with views out to the Eiffel Tower. The colour scheme throughout is pink, black and white. There was a big pink cabinet with a free mini bar of Fauchon confectionary and sweet & sour goodies. The bed was huge and super comfy and loved that at night time the lights flash on the Eiffel Tower every hour. The gym is small but has good equipment & there is a spa offering massages. This is a concept style novelty hotel and has a fun element to it. I highly recommend if you are looking for something different and unique that is located in one of the best and most central areas of Paris. Go for one of the suites on the 11th floor if you like to have a lot of space and privacy.

disappointed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't understand all the gr8 reviews and I do regret my stay there: I had an awesome time in Paris, but my choice of hotel was disappointing.
Several things really went wrong:
1. Upon my arrival I was told I would get a welcome drink (and I didn't ask for anything...): they kept me waiting, and nothing came up (lol)
2. I was told I was upgraded, but this was a lie, I only had the deluxe room ,the one I basically booked and paid for
3. When I checked in my room, a very talkative lady (and I told her I was tired, after flying 7 hours and spending 5 hours shopping with my friend) showed me around my room and she mentioned that some item were missing (foie gras and some other things): she promised it will be refilled the following day. I am still waiting for it....
4. I could hear the cars on the adjacent busy road
5. I found a dirty towel placed in my bathroom: it was full of foundation, disgusting
6. Water was not provided on a daily basis 9I had to buy my own)
7. Gym is so tiny....
8. I opened a box of cake and it was half empty (another lol)
9. Some of the staff were friendly but few could look at you when you were passing by and not even say hi

Anyhow, this is not a 5 star hotel. Last year I stayed at Fouquet hotel and it was perfect: next year I will go back to Barriere Fouquet to avoid another bad surprise!!
The only good point for this Fauchon hotel is location and the macarons (that I didn t find in my room by the way): but not sure it s worth paying $550 a night just for macarons...
I know I am quiet exigent as I am very blessed to be able to live in a great flat and I have also stayed in amazing hotels around the world so my expectation level is really high. And unfortunately Fauchon doesn't make the cut.

Wonderful from Start to Finish.
I found this hotel last minute and am so glad I did. From the moment I checked in to the moment I checked out it was wonderful. As others have said, the room was bright and spacious, clean and comfortable. The Gourmet Bar was so fun and the staff kept it well stocked with my favorite goodies. Everyone who worked there was the perfect blend of friendly, helpful and professional. The location was great and the room was much quieter than you would have expected given that it is on a fairly busy street. I was on the 10th floor with a wonderful view. I sat by the window every morning with my cup of tea and watched the world go by. Traveling by myself I felt very safe here too.

I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Paris. Merci a tout pour un "stay" exceptionnel!

From upon our arrival we were greeted with kindness and such warm hospitality. The staff at all levels are absolutely superb! Not only is the guest treated so well, the rooms are very comfortable and chic and you are never left needing anything. Fauchon thinks of everything you may need. The restaurant's food is high quality and I have never had a better breakfast. I can't wait to return with family next time! Thank you so much everyone for making us feel so welcome and for always taking care of our needs!

This was the most incredible stay. Words cannot describe the kindness and helpfulness of all the staff. We were treated like royalty and fed the most incredible food!
Upon arrival at 12:00 we had no expectation that our room would be ready. Yet we were sat down in the library, given macaroons and drinks and our room was ready in 20 minutes. We were welcomed so warmly by the general manager and all the staff.
The bed was so comfortable and there is an incredible view of Paris. What a dream stay - I highly highly recommend!

The hotel is beautifully decorated, its location is superb, the food is delicious. But what is absolutely incredible, is the crew that work there. Most impressive were Isabella and Ellynn, they personally took care of us to ensure we had all we wanted. Also incredible is the general manager Jerome who met us multiple times each day to ask how we are enjoying ourselves.
We recommend this hotel to everybody that wants a fantastic experience in Paris!

This is the first time I am ever writing a review for anything. My husband and I stayed at this hotel for our second anniversary and all I can say is it doesn't get better than this. We stayed in the junior suite and it was so beautiful and spacious. The staff was super friendly and so helpful. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay is one to remember. They take customer satisfaction to a whole next level. The service was phenomenal. This hotel is close to a lot of major attractions. If you are planning on visiting Paris I highly highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Great location, amazing staff, and the kindest most helpful Deputy Manager Perrine. Although I did not eat in the restaurant the coffee and lattes were delicious. Everyone was so accommodating to every request from me and my other family friends staying at the hotel. I will be back and highly recommend to anyone traveling to Paris.

Description

Location
In a twinset of Haussmannian mansions in the upmarket 8e arrondissement. Place de la Concorde, the elegant Jardin des Tuileries, Musée de Louvre and the Seine are all five to 10 minutes’ walk. Concorde and Tuileries (both line 1) are the closest metro stations.

A luxurious boutique hotel in the heart of Paris

Fauchon L'hôtel Paris is the new epicenter of contemporary Parisian epicure and luxurious hospitality — curators of culture, aestheticians of the arts, and innovators of fine foods and pastries.

Rooms
Fifty-four rooms stack up on six floors. Don’t be alarmed by the flashy bling-bling corridors, faithfully flying the Fauchon colours with black, magenta and white zig-zig patterned carpet. Apartment-styled rooms are beautifully serene, with softer palettes of beige and rose, dark herringbone parquet, high ceilings, thoughtful lighting, made-to-measure furniture and a wonderful mix of textured fabrics. Those on the top two floors enjoy romantic Juliette balconies and sloping mansard ceilings.

Smart televisions and Bosé speakers hook up with your phone for personalised music and movies, and the in-room tablet also serves as entertainment hub, Paris city guide, Fauchon e-boutique and library with 7,000 newspapers and magazines. Taking a shower is great fun thanks to the Bluetooth ceiling speaker.

Rooms have minibars but you most likely won’t be need it. Every room sports a customised gourmet bar – think a baby-pink, metallic larder (for want of a better word) designed by Sacha Lakic for Roche Bobois – stuffed full of complimentary Fauchon edibles: buttery salt caramels, fruit jellies, chocolate truffles, champagne (call reception for ice cubes), tapenade, foie gras, brioche toasts, etc. Drawers conceal cutlery, white Limoges tableware, the works, and whatever you don’t eat you can take home with you.

Value for money
Double rooms from €450 (£394). Breakfast excluded (from €29/£25 or à la carte). Free Wi-Fi.
