Oslo Guldsmeden Hotels

Lovely boutique hotel!
Very well designed , all facilities were very clean.
The service was above and beyond and the restaurant was absolutely delicious! (Worth the price!!) .
If I'll visit Oslo again I would definitely stay there again.

The hotel has character, unique decor and comfy common spaces in the lounge.
We had a room on the top floor which was spacious enough for a desk, and had a small bathroom.
The mattresses sagged which severely impacted sleep quality. I'm sorry to say I didn't sleep much at all. The pillows also had no support.
Not soundproof at all. There were 2 occasions we were kept up at night by someone making noise in another room.
The shower was good, the water ran quite hot with adequate pressure.
The hospitality was warm, with a real sense of welcome. The staff saw to any requests we had very quickly.
Overall it was okay.

Very nice boutique hotel. Pros: great bed, great bath products included, sauna and spa area available at reasonable rate, nice selection of drinks, and decent cafe next door. Cons: the room was small and had a lot of unnecessary bric-a-brac in it. Hard for two people to move around. The shower had good pressure, but the shower head was constantly sliding down. The shower was oddly designed and often caused water to spill out on the bathroom floor (no shower mat provided). Location is okay, but a bit far to walk from the train station with bags. It is close to a number of bus and tram lines, and you can easily walk to Aker Brygge and the harbor. Close to the museums in Bygdøy by bus. A bit expensive for what it is, but we had a nice stay.

This is one of my favorite hotels in Oslo. The hotel brings both warm home feeling at the same time offers facilities that makes you feel relaxed and at holidays! Their staff members are polite and helpful! Spa is a must visiting spot while at Guldsmeden.
