The Hotel is more in keeping with a Motel style. It's cute and well maintained. The staff is friendly and ready to help. The overall layout of the rooms are cute and a decent size for two people. However, the restaurant menu for the hotel is too extravagant (and expensive) for the guests that stay there. The hotel doesn't have air conditioning or provide a fan to circulate the air. Which was unfortunate because it was a little warmer when we were staying there. The room I was staying in was close to a tree that housed bees. Unlike my family who was able to open their windows to circulate the air, I was unable to open the main windows which would have made a difference in the air temperature in the room. While the pillows and bed appear comfortable, for me it felt like I was in a hospital bed. The only saving grace was the bathtub, which was a very nice size to sit in and relax. I really did like the style of the bathroom. It was very unique. Finally, while the staff does a decent job cleaning (they have the rooms cleaned pretty quickly) they do not get rid of bugs ie dead spiders from prior guest stays. I wouldn't say the experience was bad, but there is room for improvement. This hotel is good for cooler weather and short stays.
