Comwell H.C. Andersen Odense Dolce by Wyndham

The hotel is having a quite good location. It seems to be an older building but the rooms are fairly fresh and modern and seems to have been refurbished within the last few years. Check-in and out was super easy and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was the standard Western breakfast buffet, but it was quite nice and had a decent selection of options and tastes. It's a good hotel if you have business in Odense and need a place to stay for a night or 2.

The best things of this hotel is the location. Nice decoration and the restaurant is great.  When I first arrived my card did not work and I needed to walk back to the reception. Room is cosy but the floor was not perfectly clean.  No fridge in the room and we need to check out at 11 a.m.

Great location bad management. I like the location which is well located in the central location of Odense. But I really hate how it is managed. First I booked this property since I noticed they have a gym. When I checked in I found it was closed since March. If they are thoughtful enough they would have a temporary location. Instead I went into the gym it was all empty and I see no process of it. The receptionists are terrible. When I arrived no one was there. They gave misleading information about the parking. I was told that I could park at the indoor parking and provide the car license plate when I check out. Then I parked and the other receptionist giving me a cold tone saying parking was none of the hotel business. I was fined at the end by the parking lot since I did not register the car. As a tourist I had no idea how parking worked in Odense. Things are mostly not in English. Maybe that’s not a place for non domestic visitors. The good thing about this hotel was the breakfast was good.

Fantastic breakfast buffet and just about perfectly located to explore Odense's connection to Hand Christian Andersen. Room was immaculate, quiet and had a welcomed bathtub. Attached to a casino which we did not go into, nor did we hear it. I would stay here again if I find myself in Odense.
