The Charles Hotel, a Rocco Forte Hotel

I really enjoyed my stay here and would highly recommend the hotel. Some highlights. 1) The room was very spacious and had an armchair, a loveseat, and a small table. The bed needed its own zipcode. On top of that there was enough space on the floor to do yoga. 2) The service was impeccable. I felt welcome and well taken care of throughout my stay and they had thoughtful little touches that made the stay extra special. 3) The location is hard to beat. It's ~3 min walk from the main station and 10 min stroll away from Marienplatz. It's also right across the old botanical garden so there's plenty of greenery around. 10/10 would definitely stay here again.

I have never experienced the level of service and friendliness as I have at The Charles in Munich. From the reception to the wait staff to room service and quality and cleanliness of the room were exceptional. I injured my ankle during my stay and the hotel staff helped me from getting a doctor to come over in a couple of hours, sending a taxi to get my medication and find me crutches to use during the stay. Each and every one of the staff went out of the way to make my remaining stay comfortable including sending  macaroons with a handwritten get well done. Truly exceptional service and genuinely great people.

I can only comment about the spa here. In my opinion the best spa in Munich. Excellent staff, great treatments and great facilities. The sauna, steam room, the pool and really luxurious towels and robes. Been coming here for years and love it. Always come back for a day at the spa.

I was just in the hotel for one night with a great experience. Wonderful interior, spacious rooms, super friendly and professional staff. My room was next to the elevators and - totally unexpected - it was completely silent. So all in all wonderful; next time I hope I can also try the Spa and restaurants.
