Would 100% stay here again! Also, they lone you a bike for a day and the Munich area is so accessible by bike. So definitely take them up on this! Difficult to enjoy the rooftop restaurant since you have to make a reservation (sigh) but great hotel overall.

We had a fabulous stay. Wonderful location in the heart of Old Munich. Nice room and amenities. Describes itself as "hip." I don't know know about that but we thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was exceptional, second to none. Would recommend without hesitation and would gladly return if the opportunity presented itself.

The hotel is ok, but for this price I expected something a bit better. The room was small, very elegant, however not very practically designed (for example the desk was super small, I was hardly able to work on my laptop; also there was only very little place for cosmetics in the bathroom). Basically, it should be clear to you that when booking a room at this hotel you're paying for the location.

My wife and I stayed here 10/27-29/2018.  I'm really glad I picked this as our base for visiting Munich.  The hotel staff were very kind and helpful.  The room was beautifully updated and comfortable.  The breakfast buffet was a bit high in cost, but they offered a very nice and wide selection of foods that were delicious.  Right across the street is the Marienplatz market if you want to buy like a local.  The only negative for us was the weather that weekend - it was grey skies and rain all 3 days - but I still loved our stay in Munich and would stay here over and over again.
