Very, very impressive........
Having lived in Russia for a VERY long time, it always feels a little strange to stay in a hotel but this was an extremely pleasant experience indeed.
From the very easy, friendly and quick check-in until the same at check-out, my stay was superb.
I was fortunate to the have been upgraded to a Pushkin Suite upon arrival (never a bad thing) and it was one of the best rooms I've stayed in. It was spacious (about 70m) and so well-equipped. The only thing missing was milk or cream for the Nespresso-type coffee maker.
The sleep quality was superb - thanks to my Fitbit, it showed that I had my longest uninterrupted sleep for about 6 months. Usually hotels showers lack power, but this wasn't the case here - the shower options, power and heat were superb.
The service, all through the hotel, was equally as good. The staff went the extra-mile whenever there is a request and seem to have a real 'can do' attitude instead of the usual "it's not allowed" type attitude of most of the other hotels in Moscow.
The hotel is reasonably new (I remember the awful Minsk Hotel that used to occupy this territory) so it's very modern, clean and fresh.
Credit must go to GM Martin and his team for their hard work and dedication as the results are very, very clear to everyone who's fortunate to stay there.
I usually stay at the fabulous Lotte Hotel but this is definitely a great option as it offers excellent value for money.
