I will start with the positive points; the room was spacious and clean. Now on to the negative points: Firstly the room was very cold, and the heater did not work. While I was in my room I constantly heard loud noises down the hallways and outside the hotel on the street. For some reason there are EU power point sockets in the wall near the bed, so I wasn't able to charge my phone unless it was on the other side of the room. One major issue which I witnessed straight away after checking in, is that most of the people staying there were quite rough. Going back to the earlier point I made about the loud noises, this would be the reason for that. There are a lot of rough and unapproachable people who stay at the hotel and hang around the streets where the hotel is based. And for this reason is why I am rating the hotel as 2 stars. This hotel has the potential to be great, is has really good spacious rooms, but the main issue which drags it down is the type of people who stay there and lingue around out of the front. As they cause endless noise throughout the day and night. If the hotel was more strict on who they let in and more guidelines to noise it would be a great place to stay. But until then, avoid this place if you have a family or want a peaceful place to stay.

Good for price, although we did get upgraded to a triple room with window and heating. The room we were in was a smoking room but didn't smell of smoke (I'm a non-smoker) however, the hallways did smell of smoke but wasn't a problem as I didn't spend much time in the hallways. I will definitely stay here again when needing to stay in the centre. Staff are very pleasant and welcoming.

It's a 3 star hotel and there's nothing wrong with that- you get what you pay for. The staff we spoke to were polite. Our room was a good size, as was the ensuite. The bed was comfy. The room was clean and tidy. The linen and towels were clean. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room too. It's ideally situated close the the city centre and was perfect for our one night stay. I would happily stay here again.

Lovely place to stay in Manchester. Stayed here twice now the carpets have been replaced recently so all has a fresh feel. Executive and family rooms are nicely spacious enough. Have tried the food/bar/health suit yet as due to Covid-19 these have not been open on my visits yet. The staff here have always been pleasant enough, working hard and still smiling.
