My husband and I were on a weekend holiday, wanted something in the center of London, and booked this hotel via the IHG app. I'll break this review down in different categories, because there was a lot I liked about this hotel and a few improvements.
Reception: The staff were amazing! They were detailed - sent us a receipt via email and printed quickly after checking out. They were welcoming, and quick to check in.
The room: It was decorated nicely. Very modern. I LOVED our view on the 7th floor. (See photos). The only downside was the bathroom wall seemed to have quite a few black markings. It didn't impact our stay, but just made it feel not as clean.
Requests to room/Service for room: While the phone was aesthetic (old school looking one), we could not figure out how to call reception from it to request an iron. We had to call their main number from Google and had to wait a bit to get redirected to the hotel. Upon contacting them, they were really quick about getting our iron to us!
The restaurant: The drinks were great, but we kept seeing tables around us getting served first even though we ordered before them.
Location: Good, central, close to tube stops, but quite noisy at night. The crowd at night is pretty rowdy too.
