Baglioni Hotel - London

Service was really great, they went above and beyond for my wife's birthday in a discreet way. The room was nice and incredibly comfortable bed, but styling was a little tired for me and the other areas of the room not as comfortable or that great. Bathroom was really nice. Breakfast was nicely done but the full English I had could have been done a bit better. Bacon a bit soft, eggs tasted of the vinegar they were poached in, sausage seemed underseasoned and toast that came with it was like a basic sliced white. I seem super picky but I think they could be better in this area for the level they are.

Great location opposite Hyde Park. Suite was as expected, very kindly upgraded us and comp'ed a bottle of prosecco and cakes for my partners birthday. Staff super helpful, attentive and kind. Breakfast a let down, nearly hour to cook 3 breakfasts. Ended up sitting there over an hour as order only taken when I chased, and delivered when chased in a quiet restaurant.

I booked this hotel through Amex fine hotel collection. I initially was hesitant, not knowing much about where to stay in London, and a previous review that wasn’t too flattering. We had such a lovely four night stay. Our room was a beautifully upgraded two room suite, much larger than expected. In room coffee and full mini bar. They sent a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine to our room. The only issue was that you really could hear everything on the street, there was some repair work being done, and if you were a late sleeper, it could be bothersome. The staff was incredibly friendly, and helpful, anything you needed, they were on point . We made appointments to use the fitness facility, which was small but well equipped. The restaurant had a great contemporary feel, and the breakfast off the menu was fresh and delicious. The weather happened to be beautiful while there, and being right across the street from Hyde Park, made it really convenient. I found the location perfect, a little less busy than the other side of the park, yet still walkable to all main attractions, and with a fair number of bars, restaurants, and shops within blocks of the hotel. I would easily stay here again!

I love staying at this hotel when I'm in London. The rooms are a great size and everyone that works there is friendly and helpful. It's a great spot for business travelers and the location is right across from Hyde Park and Kensington Palace.  I always enjoyed walking in the neighborhood of the hotel.
