Poor experience. Very low standard of cleanliness in bedroom and bathroom. Room was in desperate need of full refit with threadbare, baggy carpets, chipped flaky paint on skirting, stains on walls, mould in shower. Whole place has a tired appearance to it but you can see it was once nice. Lots of street noise heard in bedroom. Worst of all was that when I complained, the manager promised a 25% refund which has not been received. Please can you do so. Responses from managers here on Google reviews have a condescending theme of ‘you should have told us at the time, if you did not not then your complaint is not worthy of consideration’. That is missing the point entirely, you should strive to ensure your guests have no reason to complain in the first place. Enough people have told you now about the issues with your hotel so get on and fix it, otherwise drop the price significantly and customers’ expectations will fall in tandem. None of this is the fault of your guests, it appears you are trying to shift the blame onto them somehow. Customer service attitude is shocking.
