I've never been a guest, but I've often been to the restaurant. Of course, the service is great. The food is nice, too. The setup is very good as it is expected to be in a hotel like this, but lacks a charm, some extra in the food, a sense of elegance that never quite reaches the point. And it should reach for the price they ask.

I stayed here for one night and received 150 bottles of wine that I needed to get to the airport. Not only did they receive the wine without incident, Marco helped me wrap the bottles to protect them in the suitcases. They left me a space to get everything packed, helped me find materials, and made sure I got through the airport with the 8 bags. All of this to say, the service was great.
The room was basic, but clean and comfortable with plenty of space. The bathroom looked newly remodeled. As for location, it is perfect for proximity to the airport or Sporting’s stadium. It’s also a cool university area with plenty to do in what feels like a more authentic Lisbon atmosphere than the center. I wouldn’t suggest it for first / one time visitors as it’s a bit far from the “trip advisor top 10” area. However, for anybody passing through, needing to get to the airport, or wanting to watch football; I couldn’t recommend a place more.

Our room needed updating and freshening up. The iron fell apart on use. I reported this but nothing was done.  One of the chairs was broken. There was a nasty toilet brush that may be as old as the hotel. The air conditioning didn’t cool the room. There is poor noise insulation and one hears almost constant banging doors and noise from other rooms. Water and coffee wasn’t replaced daily. On a positive side, the beds are comfortable.  There were long queues for breakfast on 2 of the days. I think it’s pushing it to call this a four star hotel. It’s close to the airport and well outside of the city centre, with a short walk to the metro.

City center standard big hotel. Clean, tidy and suits it's purpose. I wouldn't pay 300 euros a night though. Big thank you to Air Portugal for the accommodation. It was good to see how the other half live.
