Beautiful hotel with the best staff!
We stayed at the Corpo Santo for 4 nights mid February in a junior suite. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel at home, and took care of our every need. Joana, the guest services manager, seemed to always be available to assist us with any dinner recommendations, tour suggestions, directions and any other information we needed. She also hosted a walking tour we did on the morning we
arrived. She is a great guide and her love of Lisbon and her local knowledge was impressive. Make sure to take advantage of the walking tours - this is one of the only hotels we have ever stayed at that offered complimentary tours, and they were superb.
Our room was a junior suite located on the first floor (actually the second floor). It had double glass doors and windows to block out 99% of the noise from outside. There was a small balcony, and remote operated motorized privacy/night shades that were fantastic at blocking out the daylight. The bathroom featured a shower with chromatheapy lighting and sound that was very interesting. The bed was very comfortable, and the closet space was adequate. The room was sparkling clean, and everything worked perfectly.
We had breakfast everyday in the dining room - the host was very friendly and greeted us every day with a big smile. The food was excellent, with a choice of eggs, potatoes, meats, fruits, cheeses, rolls, bread and many other delicious choices.
The hotel also has an amazing basement housing a section of wall from the 14th century that was discovered during construction. It has been preserved and showcased in such a beautiful way - it is liking having a small museum right in the hotel.
The location of the hotel is also perfect, centrally located to all the best things to see and do in Lisbon, as well as being central to public transportation.
The Corpo Santo is the perfect hotel in every way - it will certainly be out first choice when we we return to Lisbon.

Pamper yourself here please!
After a mini panic attack, where the reception didn't know we were arriving (due to love holiday not sending our reservation over to the hotel), the ladies at the reception sorted the problem while over the phone and welcomed us on our arrival as you would expect from a 5* hotel: doors opened for you, valet taking care of your suitcases and fresh water offered after a long journey.
The lobby is cosy, full of helpful staff, with soft lights and a snack/drinks table available all day.
The room we chose was a double bedroom, big enough for the 2 of us and all our suitcases. In that bedroom we had pillow menu (yep, you can change your pillow if you don't find it to your liking!), nespresso machine, complimentary water and a fully stocked mini bar: I personally liked the snacks and alcoholic beverages coming mainly in tubes, which makes them look classier than miniatures.
The bathroom was just perfect: chromotherapy bath, good sized sink with 2 mirrors and all (and I mean all) the toiletries you might have forgotten.
The breakfast is just unbelievable! On our first morning, Christopher showed us what was going on at breakfast and checked on us to see if everything was OK. There was every single possible item available (I don't know what some people had to moan about the breakfast tbh. I worked in a 4* hotel and I can assure you we didn't bother with freshly baked cakes, 6 different types of bread or fizz!).
Bearing in mind the hotel didn't know it was the last leg of our honeymoon, we were surprised with a bottle of Portuguese fizz and red fruits on our last night. Very nice touch!!!
The morning of our departure, I had the chance to meet some of the kitchen staff that prepared the lovely food we had in our very short stay at Corpo Santo (sad face).
I have already recommended this hotel to a couple of friends and I will keep doing to everyone who will mention Lisbon as their future trip. Cannot thank this hotel enough to make the end of our honeymoon memorable!

Outstanding Hotel in great location
While on a short visit to Lisbon recently, my friend and I had the pleasure of spending 2 nights in this beautiful historical hotel. From the minute we arrived until the minute we departed nothing was too much trouble for everyone who worked there. From the door staff to reception, cleaners and restaurant staff, we received 5star treatment from everyone. The bedrooms are extremely comfortable and although the hotel is in a busy area, the noise level was zero. We ate in the restaurant the first night and the food was first class. The breakfast is also delicious with a wide variety of choices available to suit all tastes. We particularly enjoyed the free walking tour, which takes place twice a day. Our guide was the lovely Joana who was very knowledgeable, and the walking tour takes about 2 / 2½ hours. We got back just in time for the complementary nibbles which is provided every day. We will return to the outstanding hotel.

Wonderful
If we could give 6 stars, we would! Absolutely wonderful hotel. Staff were so helpful, friendly, funny and hard working. We did both morning and afternoon tours - so nice to see part of Lisbon with a local and then get an idea of where to shop, eat and enjoy city. Amazing snacks, wine tasting, ice cream and treats on each floor - you’re never hungry. Excellent recommendations for dinners and touring. A very caring, kind considerate and historic hotel!

Located centrally, this hotel offered quality facilities and customer care. Nothing was too much trouble for staff, and they helped make this a pleasant stay.
The hotel rooms were clean, comfortable, quiet and decorated to a high standard. Breakfast was plentiful and varied.
Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place in central Lisbon.

Location and Service - 5 Stars
We stayed for 4 days at Corpo Santo hotel in mid Feb. It's one of the best hotel in the area.

Location wise, it can't be beaten - walking to Commerce Square, Baxio-Chiado/Rossio/Metro/Alfama. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel with lines serving almost everywhere inside Lisbon.

Room - very nicely decorated though it was kinda hot and the room temp will not go below 17C on the thermostat. Usual amenities in the room and bathroom provided including Nespresso capsules.

Decorations - Each floor has a theme. Also, each floor has a table in front of elevator with fruits and nuts.

At the entrance of the hotel, there is a table with fruits, nuts and candies! Also, free water bottle at the door itself, you can pick up whenever you go out or come back. The hotel has opened an ice-cream shop outside and all the hotel guests are offered one ice-cream per person. Its perfect to stop by in afternoon, pick up your ice-cream, water bottle, take some rest and then go out again!

From 6pm to 730pm, there is happy hour/hors d'oeuvres in the hotel lobby. Wine is offered with appetizers and sometimes sweets too!

Excellent hotel!
This was the best hotel I've ever been to. The staff was so warm and friendly, and the room and shower was phenomenal. Very quiet, even in the midst of the city. The location is perfect (it's 10 minutes to everything), and every afternoon there's a new treat in the lobby.

Excellent hotel!
Myself and my boyfriend found a last minute deal to stay here for 3 nights and it was worth every penny! I am sure during high season it is very expensive but the service is excellent. We arrived at the hotel after a very early flight and were offered complimentary breakfast as we were too early to check in. On the last morning we had a very early flight but they let us get breakfast early which was great filling up before the airport. The location of the hotel is excellent for walking along the river, to barrio alto or Alfama. It is the little extras that make this hotel 5 star such as the snacks and water in the reception area and the free wine tasting every evening. The staff were so polite and helpful. The room is small as it is a boutique hotel so maybe not the same quality as some 5 star hotels but it was still lovely. There were more than enough toiletries provided and the hair dryer and straighteners were great quality (difficult to find in most hotels!)

Our second stay at Corpo Santo Hotel and absolutely loved it once again - made our stay in this beautiful City perfect!
This was our second stay at the Corpo Santo Hotel and we loved it just as much as our first stay! Perfect in every way!!
We were warmly welcomed back by Nuno Pereira, who remembered us from our last stay. He went out of his way to make us feel welcome - which was very much appreciated! Thank you!
The staff generally are very friendly and helpful - service is great.
I loved the bedroom. The bed with super comfy with high quality bed linen, nice furnishings and Molton Brown bath products. The bathrooms are modern with a mood shower. Spotlessly clean too.
Breakfast was just as yummy as last time. Spoilt for choice with a wide selection of high quality fresh fruit/continental and also hot breakfast options. Love the freshly squeezed orange juice. There is even sparkling wine available if this takes your fancy!
I also love all the little touches - sweets in reception and evening food sampling. Even an ice cream from next door, which was a very welcome added bonus!
We also went on the morning walking tour with Rita, who was very knowledgeable and informative. Would recommend going on one of these.
Staying at this hotel definitely completed our stay in this beautiful City! We are already planning to return for our third stay...

Great stay in Lisbon in this boutique hotel. From the warm welcome received at the door until we left staff were very friendly and helpful. It was also a great value hotel with many complimentary offers - mini-bar with beer, soft drinks and water and of course coffee making in the room. Then there is coffee, ice-cream, treats available in reception. We also availed of dinner in the hotel for a small surcharge, but for 3 courses with a glass of wine it was great value.

They also offered free walking tours in the morning and afternoon. We went with Diana on the morning tour up to the castle catching various features along the way. She was great fun and enthusiastic.

Hotel is well situated only a few minutes from the Cais Do Sodre Metro/train station and 100m from the coast. You can get to Belem by tram right outside the hotel, and there are many great places to eat in the immediate area

A fantastic hotel. Amazing location walking distance to everywhere. The staff were fantastic and nothing was too much for them. Fantastic free treats in reception, complimentary mini bar in the room, a great breakfast, good cocktails. A brilliant and informative free walking tour is also available. Even little touches like free hair straighteners in the room and a lovely plate of cheese left in the evening. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lisbon.

Stayed in a superior double room and it was fantastic. Everywhere was extremely clean and location was great for getting around Lisbon on foot and also had very good access to public transport. Bathroom was brilliant. Bed was very comfortable. It was my partner's birthday and the staff really went above and beyond to make it special. The attention to detail was brilliant. We will be back!

The Corpo Santo Lisbon Historical Hotel enveloped my family in a part of history pampered by the staff and remarkable amenities. We stayed at this hotel for four nights, which is centrally located. The staff at this hotel went above and beyond to ensure we had a top notch experience. The complimentary wine tastings were outstanding and the snacks available throughout the day were a real hit. We thoroughly enjoyed the spa and the many amenities this hotel had to offer; the historical museum at this hotel is definitely worth exploring. The breakfast was a true five-star delight having some of the best pancakes we have ever eaten. The drink menu was deliciously extensive (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic). We highly recommend this hotel!

We stayed there over the holidays and found the hotel amazing.  The location was great with everything just a walk. But the best part of the hotel was the personalized service. The staff was caring and brought treats for the kids and us daily . They had umbrellas ready for us all the time, free city tours, snacks and ice cream to go at all hours of the day. They staff made our Christmas special.

Description

Location
Located next to the riverside area, in one of the prime areas of the Lisbon Center and very close to the cosmopolitan Bairro Alto and Chiado,

Rooms
Each one of the hotel’s five floors is designed to take us on a journey through the history of Portuguese expansion in the world. Africa, Asia, Brazil and, of course, Lisbon; each floor has an aroma emblematic of its region, such as coffee or cinnamon.

The hotel has 77 rooms, of which two are suites, located on the top floor, providing a panoramic view of the cosmopolitan Cais do Sodré square and the tranquil River Tagus. Thanks to the building's pombaline architecture, each room is different, making each stay unique. The decoration reflects Lisbon's laid-back lifestyle through shades of brown and beige, with bursts of natural light and a few traditional details such as the essential azulejo tiles.

The bathrooms include a chromotherapy system, a treatment which, through the alternation of colours, reestablishes the balance and harmony between body, mind and soul. Red stimulates, blue soothes, yellow brings joy and green is relaxing; enabling each guest to choose his or her state of mind. Each room and suite also has a pillow menu, minibar, Nespresso coffee machine, Ultra HD Television, Wi-Fi, bluetooth speakers and a digital safe with LED lighting.

Food & Drink
The Porter restaurant, whose name originates from a type of beer which was produced in Corpo Santo square in the 18th century, is not your typical hotel restaurant. With a street entrance, it welcomes locals and visitors, inviting them to discover a world of unique flavours and textures.

The Porter prides itself on the quality of its cuisine, served in a relaxed atmosphere divided into three distinct areas: a bar, an events room and a mezzanine. With space for 70 people and a privileged view onto one of Lisbon’s most charismatic streets, this luminous space is decorated in soft colours and wooden furniture.
