If you are looking for a great location then you have found it. The room however, is not worth it’s 4* rating. We complained that our room was cold and the water was only Luke warm. They moved us to another room “of the same standard” but it was smaller in our opinion. We complained about this but the hotel staff insisted this was the same standard room. We needed hot water so we were forced to stay in the room that was offered. After a day and a night in the room we revisited reception to say we were not happy. We asked that if the heating and hot water were fixed in our original room. It was, but that room had been booked out. So we were left in a situation whereby the rest of our beak was in a small room that we were not happy with. We booked a standard double room. The original room had a decent layout with large kitchen area, large window and wardrobe with mirror. The second room was smaller in our opinion, with a much smaller kitchen area. Smaller fridge and much smaller wardrobe that opened awkwardly practically onto the bedside drawer, that was also smaller than the first room. The rooms were clearly a different standard, even though staff told us they were not. We were so unhappy with the second room that we asked to pay extra for a upgraded room. To be told that non were available. Really disappointed and it ruined our experience here. Also we found both of the rooms cold. The heating was never on and after a long day exploring krakow wanted to come back and relax in a warm room. The window blind was also broken in our second room. The only refreshments provided were fruit tea bags, a couple of instant coffee sachets and some cans of sparkling water. When you come to stay here please just be aware that the room will be freezing (which is not nice when it is October) and you are only paying for the location and nothing else. The hotel is not a 4* and problems are not resolved. We would not recommend.
