Scandic Hakaniemi

Absolutely perfect staff attitude! So friendly and helpful in anything you demand. Very nice location, you can easily cross the road and take a bus directly to the airport (~5€) 40 min.
Breakfast is delicious. The hotel poses sauna which is separate for men and women (even is located in different floors).
All the covid restrictions are respected. The rooms are clean and cosy.

Location was very good. It is well connected to the main square, but it is advisable to use the train and then the metro to the hotel and not the bus (to and from the airport). The staff was always friendly, the room was large and clean (room 427). The only criticism I have was that in the bathroom not all of the hangers were properly fixed and the shower hose was also not in order. Water was running down. Breakfast buffet was good, maybe you could vary a bit. In the 4 days I was in the hotel - 3 of which I had breakfast - the food was always the same. Nonetheless a very good experience, recommendable and if I'm travel to Helsinki, I'll be happy to come back.

Everything was perfect. The hotel is close by the city center. It has a bus stop (incl. the airport bus), a tram stop and a metro station right in front of the door. A supermarket is right around the corner. The room was clean, quiet, it had a TV, complimentary WiFi with decent connectivity and speed, and a bed of decent size. It didn't have the best view (to the backyard), but I prefer quiet rooms over ones with splendid views. The bathroom was very clean and the shower worked perfectly. The breakfast buffet covered all sorts of desires (British, continental, gluten-free, vegan). Although the breakfast room was occasionally a bit crowded, because the hotel seems to have been fully booked during my stay, the buffet was continuously re-stocked and would serve everyone. Moreover, you can enjoy your breakfast with a perfect view over the Hakaniemi market square and with sunlight upon your face (on good weather days; which is rare enough in Helsinki).
The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, especially after I locked myself out of my room and had to get another key-card. I would certainly recommend this hotel to colleagues and friends.

Great Hotel in Helsinki. Just a 10 minute walk away from amusement park Linnanmäki. The rooms are cozy and have a strong internet connection and a TV that you can connect to with your phone, tablet, laptop and even a Nintendo Switch! There is a 24h S-market 200m away and also the Hakaniemi square just in front. Awesome hotel!
