Classy Hotel in the Heart of Helsinki
Check in was a breeze, and the lobby was quite nice. The staff assisted me to my room, and explained the different restaurants and venues nearby.

The room was old fashioned and tastefully decorated. The bed was quite comfortable, though, my particular view wasn't amazing out the window or anything, however, I didn't come here for the view. The mini bar was way too pricy, but I suppose that is to be expected?

The bathroom was flawless. Perfect quality and look for this type of hotel. All in all, for the location and service, this hotel gives you exactly what you need.

The location on the Esplanade is perfect. Walk out the door and all of Helsinki is within reach! The Presidential Palace, as well as some amazing parks, statues, squares, and ice cold sea swimming is nearby.

I would happily stay here again. The bar makes amazing drinks, and is quite lively. The neighborhood has tons of options for eat, drinks, and shopping. Overall, the 5-star rating for this property was earned.

Exceeded my expectations
Somehow we decided to spend a few days in Helsinki. It was cold, but we were impressed by this hotel. We arrived at 6:30 am, well before our check in time, 3 pm. They managed to get our room ready so we could relax. That’s nice.

The room was ready. All the amenities we would expect from a nice hotel were in place. The location is ideal, in the middle of everything which was great for winter. U don’t want to venture for too long on the street. It’s not cheap though.

The hotel might not be as grand as this kind of hotel in other countries but it was fine enough. Their strong point is their services. Those service minded staffs were not common nowadays.

We like it here.

Premier classic hotel in central Helsinki
The Hotel Kamp may be the best hotel in Finland, if not one of the best in Europe. It has classic opulence, furnishings and decor that create an atmosphere of luxury. We had a small suite overlooking the front street park and were very pleased with the room's beauty and comfort. Room service was high quality and spot on delivery and set up. A little pricey but here, you get what you pay for. Helsinki is a small city and this hotel is in the center of it. You can walk a very short distance to all of the City's principle attractions including the ferry to the fortress island of Suomenlinna.

Winter Kamp
Every now and then you luck into just the right place. This hotel has everything we look for; history, luxury, elegance and (unusually in our experience) friendly, interested and approachable staff. From the charming lobby to the grand staircase, from the hushed hallways to the sumptuous rooms, everything is perfect. We loved our room so much that we immediately booked another for our return journey three weeks later and, on arrival, were pleasantly surprised by an upgrade. Having one's custom valued is a rare experience these days yet Hotel Kamp does so with understated finesse. Don't let this one get away; reserve your room today!

Absolutely Fantastic Hotel
Who goes to Helsinki in February when it's minus 7, well I did and though the cold, snow and ice are not friends of mine, but to stay overnight in one of the best hotels I have ever had the pleasure of visiting, was the tonic I needed. Checked in at around 5pm by a very helpful, cheerful and professional young lady (sorry, I didn't check your name tag), I asked to book a taxi for the morning to go to the airport, it was done in an instant, My room, a deluxe was on the 6th floor, room 625, quite a walk from the elevators but walking on beautiful soft carpet and passed décor that is clearly looked after I arrived at the room. When I entered, it was a scene of warmth and calm, beautiful light Finnish wooden cabinets, a desk with chair, a relaxing armchair with footstool, the bathroom was a delight, spotlessly clean with a bath AND walk in shower, a large mirror, subtle tiling, soap, toiletries and even a rubber duck for the bath, nice touch that.
Wasn't too impressed with the tv to be honest, mostly in Finnish, but who goes to stay in a world class 5 star hotel to watch tv ? The bed was ultra comfortable with soft white linens with the "K" embossed upon them, two soft bathrobes with white slippers, a hairdryer discreetly tucked away in the bathroom, an ipod dock clock radio, loved the plug adaptor for like minded tourists like me, who forgot to bring his European plug adaptor. Checked out very early this morning, Anatoly was so friendly even at 5:30am, my taxi arrived due on time at 5:45, the smart suited driver walked into the lobby (opposite THE most beautful flower display of Tulips I'd ever seen, absolutely gorgeous!), called my name escorted me to the Mercedes and off to the airport, believe the taxi was the hotel's limousine, cost was Euro 45, a little steep, but I didn't care, it was luxury on a very cold dark Helsinki morning.
I will definately return to Helsinki (but in the summer!), and the first thing to do will be to book the KAMP Hotel, it was the highlight of my trip, stunning building, friendly, attentive but not obtrusive staff, fabulous location (i bet the garden opposite looks amazing in the summer, as it did with plenty of snow on the trees this morning!), rooms cozy, comfortable and charming. I urge all Tripadvisors, if you're going to Helsinki, THIS HOTEL IS THE ONLY ONE YOU'll NEED, it's divine.

Top stay in The Maria Kämp Suite
This was our second time in a Junior Suite. There was a lucrative offer 50% off. So we paid only 340 euros for one night.

This time we got the suite #512 which is named after the co-founder Carl Kämp's wife.

This suite is probably the best Junior Suite. It is a corner suite with five windows and the only room which has direct park views from the bathroom.

The Upper Lounge with drink and snack service 15:30-17:30 is included to the room rate from executive rooms upwards. It was a nice experience with high-quality service.

The breakfast was pleasantly calm and the service was friendly.

Famtastic hotel!!
What an amazing hotel in an amazing location. The staff is so friendly, helpful and attentive! The hotel looks like it's been recently renovated. My room was huge and perfect for a 5-night stay. Room had a classic and modern style. Bathroom was super swank too! My rate included breakfast and I'm glad I chose it because the breakfast buffet was quite varied and delicious with a super attentive staff. The gym also had everything I needed. This hotel felt like home. Thanks hotel kämp! :)

Luxurious night - Rakkauden taikaa - I want all my hotel experiences to be like this one!
From the very start we got amazing service via emails to arrange our hotel package rakkauden taikaa. Every little detail was planned and timed for our stay. Check in and out was easy and this hotel has a lot of staff so you don't need to wait.

This hotel is gorgeous and you have all the amenities in your room. We had fruits waiting in our room and champagne was brought to us when our bath was made (included in package). We had a pass for the lounge were snacks and drinks were served. The hotel bar was cozy. The hotel is located in central so it's easy to walk to shops and restaurants OR if you feel like staying in the entire stay that is possible as well.

Staff was very polite but still making us feel comfortable. A staff member came to our room to bring the breakfast and she was amazing. It can feel uncomfortable when someone comes to your room but she was so natural setting up a table full of food and made the whole breakfast in the room feel luxurious. Big thanks for her :)

The good

- Prior to my stay I wrote an email to the reception asking for an early check-in. They responded the following day, and said that this couldn’t be guaranteed, however they’d try to do their best to accommodate my request. When I arrived to the hotel this was true and I got my room earlier already at 12:45 pm, so prior to standard check-in time.

- The woman who checked me in was both friendly and hospitable. In addition she offered me a complimentary late checkout.

- The room was lovely and luxurious. Every room at the Kämp has different types of art works, and that’s why it’s always enjoyable to come again to get to admire new paintings. The general manager had also remembered that I’ve previously stayed here and there was a small box of chocolates and a greeting card waiting for me in the room.

- The dinner at restaurant Brasserie was of high quality and well worth the experience. Breakfast was also good. After breakfast when I was returning to my room the receptionist greeted me politely and asked me how I had slept in Swedish.

- Check out went also well. The woman who checked me out was very polite and spoke Swedish well. This was an excellent hotel stay and a good start to the travel season of 2022. I will most certainly come again. In fact, I’ve already booked another stay from this hotel for the beginning of the spring!

- This time I didn’t meet any issues or flaws during my stay. Even Disney Plus now worked with Chromecast

This elegant hotel offers beautiful rooms and 5 star service. The hotel staff, especially the reception desk were gracious and professional. The location is terrific. The breakfast was exceptional, as is the bar (martini and caviar….yum!). We couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you to all the wonderful people we met during our stay.

We stayed for just one night after a long trip in Rovaniemi. Staff greeted us warmly as we checked in very early (11am). Extremely courteous and helpful attitudes from every member during our stay. Room was excellent - clean, warm, comfortable, and very spacious. Wifi and lighting were fine, no issues. Location was also perfect for our itinerary. We didn’t try any amenities or the food/restaurant. If we’re ever back in Helsinki, would stay here again.

The stuff are amazingly polite, as a person of color I’m very specific with hotels I visit but this hotel the stuff were amazing. Someone was rude to me she was staying in the hotel and the hotel apologized on her behalf and I got a complementary champagne. I would definitely be staying there again and again. The rooms were so clean and everything worked efficiently.
