Reichshof Hamburg

Clean and calm hotel, located next to the main station. The staff was extremely friendly, accessible and quick. Rooms could be bigger, but they are modern cozy, bright and clean. I had a good stay here.

Massively understaffed. Long queues at check-in due to only one desk serviced. Hotel is saving on cleaning intervals - daily cleaning was only available when twice requested. Only two elevators for a massive number of rooms leads to long waiting times a peak times like check out in the morning in front of the elevator. Rooms are nice, clean and quiet!

We were staying for 3 nights in a medium room with breakfast included. It was a perfect choice for a short weekend in Hamburg! Absolutely close to everything in the city, located just opposite of the Hauptbahnhof, next to the theater. Delicious breakfast, and very friendly staff. We are definitely returning next time we are going to Hamburg!

This hotel promises a lot when you enter the beautiful lobby and reception area. It's grand. Unfortunately it doesn't deliver when it comes to the room we booked. We stayed in the King Medium room but it was much smaller than on the photos, there was literally no space to put your suitcase anywhere even though they had put a stand for it in the room. It was an interior room with a view into other hotel rooms. The shower was nice and big though. We asked for a bathtub when we booked the room, while checking in they didn't even mention it. There was a nice atmosphere in the lobby and the staff in the bar were really nice. The breakfast was fully booked during our four day stay so we didn't get the chance to try it.  Fast check out.
