Hotel Flora

A beauty of a Euro style hotel in the heart of Gothenburg. Smallish rooms, but a pleasant genuine European experience. This isn't an American chain it is an experience. Great workspace and good breakfast. The staff is top notch as well. Tons of walkable sites to visit and delicious restaurants all close by.

Fresh rooms and access to Bluetooth speaker. Good, not great, breakfast. Lacking AC. Shower soap was in tiny bottles and we finished one a day in these summer days. Good service.

The location was perfect, right in the center of Gothenburg but with a serene view to the park. The space was decorated to perfection and the receptionist and barman were very friendly and accomodating.

I booked a tiny room. It was on the 2nd floor and perfectly clean but very hot inside. I had the feeling that there was a heating somewhere, because opening the window helped just for 10 minutes. Usually, I am cold but I could not find any sleep because of the heat. So, I had to open the window. And this was really loud at night! For the second night, I got a little bigger room that had an old fashion air condition that was also very loud. This does not solve the problem, but made it better. The beds were awfully soft. Finally, I was refused to pay cash.
