Hôtel St-Gervais

Very old hotel. but the reception is quite helpful. the lift functional but creaking with the weight of my 20kg luggage. all things are very basic and bare, reminded me of my hero van gough painting of his room. anyway switzerland is so expensive so this place is quite ok considering the walking distance from the big main train station cornavin. It is also walking distance to the ferry terminal, the lakeside, the many bridges. there are many many trams and buses serving the area, if explored carefully. Bearable as there are no english channels but there's a sink in the room. shared shower rooms are clean. anyway i enjoyed geneva eventho it was cold early march.

I was very happy with this hotel. The people at the desk were friendly and the room was small but adequate. My main reason for 5 stars is that on arrival after an overnight flight they allowed us to check in several hours early. The breakfast being included was a bonus. The lift was tiny but fine.

The hotel is fine for just a few nights. The building in general is quite old and it has a vintage style but not in a good way. The elevator is tiny. The breakfast was included and quite basic aswell, and it didn't contain any protein. The cleanness in the shared bathroom is improbable.

A good place to stay near the city old center. Close to a bus and tram station. The building is somehow old, but well maintained. It is also equipped with a tiny elevator. Wifi is available and the signal is good. I booked a small room, however the restroom is outside the room. Friendly and helpful staff. There is continental breakfast. Don't forget to ask for your free pass transportation card for the duration of your stay.
