During our multiple trips to Gdańsk we always choose the neighbouring Puro with very good rooms and even better customer service. But at some point we decided to check the competition and our choice was the Holiday Inn Gdańsk. And that was our mistake. Unfortunately last moment we had to change our plans. I spent hours to get in touch with the right person hoping to re-schedule the visit, and when finally connected, it was not possible (as the booking was done via Hotels). I was recommended to reach out to the Hotels and deal with them, so I did. Hotels.com offered to contact the hotel and ask if they agree for change in booking. After two days of waiting for Holiday Inn response it was obviously negative. My customer service experience from the competition is much more positive. I hope the hotel will be happy to have this single night fee as it is the only money I will ever spend in this hotel chain!
