Eyre Square Hotel

The hotel was clean, staff very friendly and helpful. The room was smaller than I expected but it was well maintained. It has a good breakfast and bar at night. For the price the location was perfect!

Room was small and did not have any drawers for our clothes. It only had hangers for jackets, shirts and trousers. We had seafood chowder in the bar but it was only luke warm so we sent it back to be reheated. When it did return I only ate half as it did not taste good. Breakfast on the other hand was very good. Will not be in a rush back. Hopefully when the renovations are completed the rooms will improve.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, especially the girl on the reception, she moved our room 3 times until we were happy (tiny room or dark room looking into other rooms). The front of the house, bar etc is lovely, go beyond that and you can see why it needs renovation. The full breakfast was unreal, set you up for the day, otherwise staff had no problems giving you whatever you picked yourself. Excellent location beside everything and car park five minutes walk.

This is my second time this year to stay in the Eyre Square Hotel and again all I can say are good things. This is the most obliging Hotel with the most helpful and friendly staff from the cleaning staff to management nothing was to much trouble looking forward to my next visit
